My 31 Days of Halloween and CAT-O-WEEN inspirational make for you today is a magical slimline card featuring Digi Stamps and SVG Cutz from my Cherry Blossom Collection, Once Upon a Nightmare Collection and the A Charming Christmas Collection.

 

 

Kitty Geisha loves to tell ghost stories to her kitties by candlelight on the night of a full CAT-O-WEEN moon!  Right now she's sharing an ancient Japanese proverb (not really) that goes like this...

 

When a Black Cat crosses your path

it means the Cat is going Somewhere

 

 Paws for thought right LOL!

 

 

To make my FURRtastic CAT-O-WEEN slimline card I used my adorable Kitty Geisha Doll - SVG Print and Cutz set (also available as just a digi set) to print and then cut her out with an offset using my Silhouette Cameo 4.  I coloured her up with Prismacolor pencils in Halloween colours and made her face look like it's reflecting spooky candlelight.  I added Glossy Accents to the cherry blossom centers, the kitties heart shaped noses and Kitty's cute little heart lips and her heart shaped hair adornment and applied clear Spectrum Noir sparkle ink to the flowers and the white cuffs of her kimono.

 

 

I also cut out the saying, from A Wicked Compendium of Halloween Sayings, with an offset and then cut shadow layers for both Kitty Geisha and the saying from hematite glitter paper (Scrapbook.com’s Mixed Metals).  For the background I printed out the Furness Forest Winter Treescape with a tiny Wicked Moon included and used the smallest slimline mat layer, from either of these 2 sets from the A Charming Christmas Collection:  Snowmen Slimline Make-a-Card Layered SVG Cutz and the Christmas Baubles Slimline Make-a-Card Layered SVG Cutz, to cut the panel out and then I applied Villainous Potion and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink to create the spooky foggy sky effect and added white acrylic paint to the Wicked Moon.  I then used the Slimline SVG Cutz set to cut the large mat layer from textured purple cardstock and a folded card out of black cardstock.

 

 

I edged the main panel and the mat layer with Spectrum Noir Midas Silver pigment ink and mounted the mat layer directly onto the card front, then the panel was added with foam tape, the sentiment adhered to the main panel and finally Kitty Geisha was adhered with foam tape as well for lots of fun dimension.  I then embellished my scene with Tim's Mixed Media tiny Bat die cuts and for my special glow-in-the-dark touch I painted in the stars and the moon.
