Day 7 of 31 Days of Halloween
"Happy Haunting"
Haunted House Shaker Tag
by Leigh

My 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop inspiration for you today is a creepy cute Halloween make perfect for kids of all ages and also a faBOOlous inspirational piece for our "Too Cute to Spook!" October Challenge too and features digi stamps from the SPOOKtember Halloween 2020 Collection.

Vampire Balleigh Monster is having a blast leaping out to scare Trick or Treaters at his haunted house with his little Jack o' Lanterns gleefully enjoying the spooktivities too!

Betsi the Batleigh Bat couldn't resist flying in to spy on the spooktivities as well!

Betsi the Batleigh Bat is teeny tiny!  I fussy cut her out with scissors and coloured her up with Prismacolor pencils.  I applied Spectrum Noir clear sparkle ink to her and then coated her with Ranger Glossy Accents.  The "Happy Haunting" senti is included in the Vampire Balleigh Monster digi stamp set.  I printed out the senti and used my Silhouette Cameo 4 to cut it out with an offset.  I then applied Scrapbook.com's Smart Liquid Craft Glue to the edges and added lime green extra fine glitter.  I used foam tape to mount the senti and Betsi Batleigh to the tag for fun dimension.

This fun mini House Shaker is a Scrapbook.com die set that was a freebie for their first SBCfest event a few weeks ago and it's currently FREE again now so add it to your carts quick!

Vampire Balleigh Monster and his pumpkins are also quite tiny so I was doing lots of tiny fussy cutting and colouring with Prismacolor pencils for this make.  I also gave the images a pretty shimmer with the clear sparkle ink and then fun glass-like dimension with the glossy accents too.  The pumpkins are actually the same single pumpkin that comes in the Vampire Balleigh Monster set, I just altered the size of the one and made it taller and then created the group before printing them out.

To make the mini House Shaker I cut the front panel from black textured Crafter's Companion carddstock and the back panel from purple star decorative paper and cut an acetate panel to match.  I used Scrapbook.com's 1/8 inch wide double sided adhesive foam strips to create the shaker and used bats and pumpkin confetti and copper micro beads for the shaker element.  I used Tim Holtz Stacked Tags set to cut the tag and mat layer and embellished the purple star mat with lime green glitter as well.  Then completed my Haunted House Shaker Tag with lime gree and purple fuzzy boa fiber.
