Hexagon Easel Card

LeighSBDesigner Val's 31 Days of Halloween inspiration for you today is a magical hexagonal easel card featuring Digi Stamps and SVG Cutz from my new Shadows Rising Collection and Once Upon a Nightmare Collection!

The star of Val's spooktacular easel card is the mischievous Nyx Shadow Faerie fluttering around the Furness Forest Shadow Trees SVG Cutz accompanied of her bat friends from the Gothic Nightmare Catcher SVG Cutz set. Val cut the bats and shadow trees out of Hobby Craft black cardstock using her Silhouette Portrait 3. The "Happy Halloween" senti from the A Wicked Compendium of Halloween Sayings was sketched onto white cardstock, coloured with a tint of Villainous Potion Oxide ink, using a Silhouette black glitter pen then cut out with an offset and the interior of the senti was coloured with a white gel pen. Val then edged the Shadow Faerie and the senti with a purple sharpie and painted Nyx’s wings with Spectrum Noir clear sparkle ink. To make her hexagon easel card Val used a Double Stitched Hexagon die set to cut the card base and the background mat layer from one of the Halloween Digi Papers included in the We Are 3 digi paper pack that is one of the Candy Prizes up for grabs this Halloween! Val then completed her magical card with some Nuvo Dew Drops.
