June has buzzed by so fast with all the Summer fun we’ve been having!  The temps outside are heating up but unfortunately so is the pandemic crisis and staying home safe with our crafty supplies is still the best solution right now!  To help keep your creative spirits high my next Blog Hop for you all will be Christmas in July plus a Christmas/Winter Sale too!  So join us in July for more creative fun and stay safe and cool inside while getting a jump on your Christmas card making!

🐝 Have a BEE-utiful Summer🐝

My Summer BUZZ Blog Hop inspiration for you today is a magical octagonal window card featuring my new Oddleigh BEE set, Busy Bees set, Honeybees set and the Enchanted Garden Windflower Cottage🐝

Oddleigh BEE is happily buzzing around her lovely Enchanted Garden Windflower Cottage on a warm summer day.

I coloured Oddleigh BEE and the BEE and flowers from the Busy Bees set with Prismacolor pencils.

I painted the Enchanted Garden Windflower Cottage with a combination of watercolour pencils, Distress Oxide inks and Prismacolor pencils.  I then used a white gel pen and a white Dylusions paint pen to add details and highlights to everything.

I added lots of magical shimmer to Oddleigh BEE, the BEE and flowers elements fussy cut from the Busy Bees set and the Enchanted Garden Windflower Cottage with a Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen...

...and pretty 3D sparkle to Oddleigh Bee's wings and antennae, the single Bee's wings, Flower centers and various details to the Enchanted Garden Windflower Cottage scene.

I love making octagonal cards, which are perfect for BEE themed projects, with my Lifestyle Crafts large set of nesting octagonal dies.  I used them to create the window card frame and folded card base and then hand cut the yellow mat for a peek of colour inside the window frame.  I used foam tape to mount the window card to the base card and pop dots to add all the fussy cut elements to the card for a fun multi-dimensional effect.  I used the "Have a BEE-utiful Summer!" sentiment from the Honeybees set to complete my fun window card.

LeighSBDesigner Val's Summer BUZZ Blog Hop inspiration for you today is this gorgeous gate fold card featuring sets from my new Summer BUZZ Collection🐝

For the front of her gate fold card Val used the Busy Bees set and the Oddleigh BEE set.

For the inside she used one of the sentiments included in the Honeybees set.

Half-O-Ween Blog Hop News!
