Day 3

"Heart Bubbles"

Tag Art

by Val

For Day 3's inspiration of our 7th annual Gothic Valentine celebration LeighSBDesigner Val is back with fabulous Gothic romance themed tag for you featuring "Heart Bubbles" from the adorable Juliet Balleigh Monster set.

Val printed out the wonderful cluster of "Heart Bubbles" included in the adorable Juliet Balleigh Monster set and coloured the digi stamp with Promarkers in red and dark grey and added sparkle with a red Sakura glitter pen.  She then fussy cut around the design leaving a narrow grey border.

She then made a tag from black cardstock using the Starry Night nesting slimline die by Crafter's Companion.  She adhered the Heart Bubbles to the tag with foam tape and completed her make with red glitter fiber.

Balleigh Monster Cards

by Guest Designer Tee

Tee joins us today as Guest Designer with two fabulous cards featuring Romeo and Juliet Balleigh Monsters from the 2021 Valentine Collection❤️

Don't these love sick Balleigh Monsters just make you smile😁

Tee coloured Romeo and Juliet Balleigh Monsters with Caliart markers on a heavy white cardstock.  She used Over the Rainbow paper for her backgrounds and matted them on smooth white card bases.  Tee then embellished with green glitter on the leaves, Nuvo white crystal drops on Romeo's tooth and a pink gem on Juliet's hair bow.  The senties "Smooches" and "Smitten" are just 2 of the senties included in the digi stamp sets with these cutie monsters❤️

What a fabulously Valentine makes Tee, thanks for being our Guest Designer today!

Gothic Valentine Blog Hop 2021: Day 1 - Romeo and Juliet Balleigh Monster Heart Blooms Ornament by Leigh!

 Welcome Creative Friends to

LeighSBDesigns' 4th annual

We are celebrating Valentine's Day in LeighSBDesigns style with our annual blog hop where we indulge in the darker side of love and romance🖤  This year the hop is for 4 days from Feb 13 to Feb 16 and the linky party closes at 5 'til midnight pacific.  Everyone is welcome to come and join the fun using any stamp company supplies and products.  All the details, hop rules and the linky party are in my main hop post HERE!

Day 1
"Romeo and Juliet"
Balleigh Monster Heart Blooms Ornament by Leigh

I'm kicking off the hop today with my hanging ornament featuring all my new February releases, Heart Blooms and the Romeo and Juliet Balleigh Monsters 🖤  There's no love story more romantic and tragic than Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet🖤

I coloured my adorable love monsters and floral heart wreath with Copics and Prismacolor pencils.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to fussy cut out all the images as well as mat layers which I coloured with Tea Dye and Black Soot Distress inks.

I used a white Dylusions paint pen to add white detailing.

I used a Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen to add sparkly shimmer to all flowers, leaves and Juliet's heart bow, lips and eyeshadow.  I also applied transparent violet Viva Pearl 3D gel to the twirly flower centers on the Heart Blooms heart wreath.

I assembled and layered the images with black foam tape to create a fun dimensional ornament and embellished with a black satin ribbon in 2 widths and 2 Tim Holtz die cut bats coated with clear Rocky Candy Distress crackle.

Here's a bonus look featuring just Romeo Balleigh Monster on the Heart Blooms wreath.

I hope I've inspired you to come and join the celebration!
