"Happy Haunting"

LeighSBDesigner Val is back for Day 12 of our 31 Days of Halloween SPOOKtivities with her BATtastic make featuring digis and decorative paper from the This Is Halloween Collection and the Once Upon a Nightmare Collection. Check everything out and more in my Halloween Sale!
The star of Val's spooky and textural card is the This is Halloween Slimline Bat which she printed onto cardstock along with the "Happy Haunting" senti from the magnificent A Wicked Compendium of 41 Halloween Sayings and coloured them with Promarkers and embellished with a white gel pen. She then fussy cut out the Bat with a narrow offset border and she matted the senti onto black cardstock.
For the leafy background Val printed a sheet from my Spooky Forest Decorative Digi Paper Pack and die cut it out using Crafter's Companion Seasoned Leaves die frame. Next she made a background panel from Kraft Card using the Tim Holtz Cracked Texture Fade embossing folder and coloured it with the Gold and Brown Craft Artist Magic Powders. She then adhered the embossed panel to a folded black card made from heavy weight cardstock and adhered all the elements in place with glue and foam tape to create lots of spooktacular dimension.
