My Day 11 of 31 Days of Halloween Hop inspiration for you today is another creeptastic glow-in-the-dark slimline card, this one features Zella Shadow Faerie from my SPOOKtember 2020 release!
Zella Shadow Faerie is looking totally wicked with her glowing eyes flying around on a moonless night back lit by the large "Spirits Fly" glow-in-the-dark sentiment.
I printed Zella Shadow Faerie out extra large and fussy cut her out. I applied Spectrum Noir Sparkle Onyx Black glitter to her entire body for lots of yummy sparkle and coloured her tattered wings with cool grey Copics.
I used Black Soot and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Sprays, Black Soot and Tarnished Pewter Distress Spray Stains to create the "night sky" background panel on mixed media cardstock and cut out the "Spirits Fly" portion of a Silhouette Studio Store "Witches Gather Vinyl Plaque" saying by Snapdragon Snippets. For the acid green background panel I used Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint and Crushed Olive Distress Oxide Sprays and applied glow-in-the-dark Delta Ceramcoat paint to the entire panel in a distressed fashion.
For Zella's eyes I used The Art Institute's glow-in-the-dark glitter applied with tacky glue.
I made a folded slimline aka tall and skinny card base from Crafter's Companion heavy weight black cardstock and adhered the 2 panels to the base with glue and then mounted Zella to the front with black foam tape to give the effect that she's flying. BEWARE...both Zella and Zylah are now out there flying around in the dark...mwahahahahahaπ

π Trick or Treat Balleigh Monsters Film Frameπ
Slimline card by Leigh
My Day 5 of 31 Days of Halloween Hop inspiration for you today is a spooktacular Trick or Treat filmstrip slimline card featuring 3 Balleigh Monsters!
With bats flying in the spooky twilight sky it's time for Ghost, Germie and Vampire Balleigh Monsters to head out for their night of haunting! Don't these fluffballs look creepy cute all dressed up in their Halloween costumes and posing for their photos next to a Jack o' Lantern, LOLπ
I sized all 3 Balleigh Monsters to fit inside the filmstrip windows and created the little scenes for each one with the bats included in the Ghost Balleigh Monster set and the Jack o' Lantern included in the Vampire Balleigh Monster set.
I printed out the scenes onto Neenah bright white cardstock and coloured the Balleigh Monsters with Copics and the background with Prismacolor pencils blended with odorless mineral spirits.
I made a slimline folded card base and cut the Trick or Treat Film Frame, Silhouette Design Store cut file by Tanya Batrak, out of Crafter's Companion heavy weight cardstock.
I added strips from a sheet of mixed media cardstock coloured with Wild Honey, Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry Oxide Sprays and Tarnished Brass Distress Stain Spray, down both sides of the filmstrip and completed my card by adhering the frame to the slimline folded card base.
This was such a fun card to create and makes perfect Halloween cards for kids of any age and adults too!

My Day 3 of 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop inspiration for you today features all 3 of my new Batleigh Bats that are trying to scare up a fright but they're just too cute to spookπ
I had a spooktacular time creating this fun slimline card. Slimlines are all the rage now but I've been making what I call "tall and skinny" cards tor years, LOL! I printed Grim, Betsi and Bram Batleigh onto Neenah bright white cardstock and coloured with Copics and added touches of Viva Decor Magic Transparent 3D gel to their noses and Betsi's cute lil bow. I fussy cut out the Batleighs and black mats with my Silhouette Cameo.
I designed the slimline black window frame in Silhouette Design Studio and cut it out with my Cameo. The Spiderweb Lace is a cut file from the Silhouette Design Store by Jennifer Wambach and the purple glitter card and heavy weight black cardstock are from Crafter's Companion. I applied a touch of Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink to the edges of the senti to coordinate with the purple glitter cardstock. To add fun dimension to the card I used black foam tape to adhere the Batleighs and the window frame panel in place.
Here's a closer look at Grim...he's looking very wicked with his red eyes!
Betsi is so sweet with her pink flowery wings but watch out, she does bite!
Bram is adorbs but those big red eyes probably mean trouble!
All 3 Batleighs and the "too cute to spook" senti are included in the Batleighs set!

Now for today's creeptastic creation by Me!
πDay 13 of 31 Days of Halloween 2019π The Quirkleighs CarnEvil Collection Carved Skelly Cat
You're all standing dazed in the empty field and looking bewildered at the stack of ominous carved pumpkins where the Quirleighs CarnEvil stood!
Next to the pumpkins sits a very strange cat wickedly grinning!
The Carved Skelly Cat purrs.... " Til Next Time " ....as he stalks off into thin air!
The Quirkleighs CarnEvil vanished as mysteriously as it appeared!
Beware! Your town could be next!
You won't be able to resist buying a ticket from the Puppet Master! mwahahahahahaha!
I printed the Carved Skelly Cat from the Quirkleighs CarnEvil Collection out twice and coloured them with Copics with white Prismacolor pencil highlights. I fussy cut the entire image on one of the prints and then just the head, neck, shoulder blades and front legs on the 2nd. I added Judikins Diamond glaze to his eyes and his lil heart shaped nose and then eye highlights with a white Dylusions paint pen.
For the card base I made a tall and thin folded card from a sheet of matt black Crafter's Companion cardstock. Then I created the bootiful "sun rise" sky background with mixed media cardstock sprayed with Mustard Seed, Worn Lipstick, Candied Apple and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Sprays.
The moon is low in the sky at this early hour so I used Hero Arts Cloudy Moon die to cut a moon into my background. I then inlaid the moon die cut from another background I made using Mustard Seed, Ground Espresso, Seedless Preserves, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Sprays and some dimensional white shimmer to the clouds with a Ice White Viva Pearl Pen. I stamped the tiny bat from Stampendous onto the moon with black pigment ink.
To creep up the scene even more I applied the Grime pattern (Tim's layering stencil) with Black Soot Distress Ink around the edges of the entire background panel. Then added Tim's clear Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint to all the edges and the tiny stamped bat. For the sentiment I replicated the look of Tim's Quote Chips I used on my Quirkleighs CarnEvil decor pieces. The sentiment by Stampendous is stamped and embossed in white embossing powder onto CC black cardstock. To make it nice and chunky I layered it up onto a few more pieces of the same cardstock then finished the edges of the sentiment and the edges of the folded base card with Midas Spectrum Noir metallic gold pigment ink.
I then die cut out one of Tim's Wildflower Stems #2, greenery from Tim's mini Holiday Greens and grass from Lawn Fawn. The grass got a clear Rock Candy Distress Crackle paint coat and I added sparkle to the flower and greenery with an Onyx Black Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.
I applied Spectrum Noir Inca Gold gilding wax to the crackled background panel edges and the grass and mounted the background panel onto the card base with foam tape and glued the grass to the bottom of the panel then added the sentiment. I tucked the full Skelly Cat print behind the grass and adhered him to the background but left his ears free so I could bend them forward. I then mounted the top layer of the fussy cut Skelly Cat with black pop dots for extra dimension. I then completed my scene with the flower and greenery.
