waiting as Shadows of a 1000 Years rise again unseen...today is Halloween!
Day 31 of 31 Days of Halloween
Lilith Shadow Faerie Queen
ShadowBox Luminary

The Shadow Faeries spent October conjuring their magic spells throughout the enchanted Furness Forest in preparation for All Hallows' Eve. The
Witching Hour is now upon us and the most powerful faerie of them all, the Shadow Faerie Queen herself, whispers her magic words and all the spells burst into flame filling Furness Forest with their eerie magical glow as Shadows of a 1000 Years rise!
Tonight is Halloween!
Lilith the Shadow Faerie Queen is
the star of my Shadowbox Luminary!
I fussy cut her out using my
Silhouette Cameo 4 with a narrow offset to create a halo around her. I
then printed out 2 more of just her bed of roses and another of her rose crown and
fussy cut everything out to create dimensional rose layers popped up with
black foam tape.
I also printed out 3 additional spells in various sizes and coloured the Shadow Faerie scene and the spells with
Prismacolor pencils and her wings and all the roses shimmer prettily with Spectrum Noir Glitter and her eye and the spells are painted with
DecoColor glow-in-the-dark paint.
Lilith the Shadow Faerie Queen is surrounded by a forest of trees I cut using my Silhouette Cameo 4
and layered up using the 3 stand alone trees and the forest trio from
the Furness Forest Shadow Trees SVG Cutz set.
I
created the star and snowfall filled skyscape background scene with Villainous Potion and Uncharted
Mariner Distress Oxide Sprays and printed the Furness Forest Winter
Treescape on to it with the Shadows of a 1000 Years Spell combined then
added the Wicked Moon and a few of Tim Holtz Mixed Media Halloween die cut bats to the scene.
I used the Root Border cut file by Rivka Wilkins (Silhouette Design store) as the base for each shadow tree layer mounted
inside the large coffin shadowbox. I
decorated the edges of the coffin shadowbox with the spiderweb from my Gothic Nightmare Catcher SVG Cutz, which was left over from my Day 13 Gothic Nightmare Catcher make, and Cheery Lynn spiderweb
die cuts which I cut in half. I also used Flourishes in 2 sizes, also by Rivka Wilkins,
the larger 2 were trimmed to create 4 separate pieces. I applied Spectrum Noir
silver gilding wax to all the pieces and used gloss glaze on the
flourishes. I embellished the top and base of the shadowbox with a gorgeous large silver metal bat and spider from Tim Holtz Idea-ology.
I drilled a hole
in the back of the wooden coffin shadowbox and threaded through a set of
battery operated wire dew drop lights with a pretty peachy glow to
illuminate my magical shadowbox luminary.
The Shadow Faerie Queen has spoken the magical words and all the spells are are now glowing throughout the enchanted Furness Forest!
