Woohoo, October is the most SPOOKTACULAR time of the year and I’m thrilled to be back with our 11th annual 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop where we gleefully countdown to October 31st in SPOOKtacular style and this year there's a new twist for even more wicked good fun!

"Sleeping Batleigh Cameos"

Upon a Nightmare....deep in the enchanted Furness Forest the Sleeping Batleigh Bats begin to stir from their slumber for a night of frightful mischief!
For Day 21 of our SPOOKtacular 31 Days of Halloween Hop+Challenge I'm back with a trio of quirky cute mini slimline cards featuring digi stamps from my new Once Upon a Nightmare Collection!
The stars of my wickedly cute mini slimline cards are 3 of my new Sleeping Batleigh Bats which I coloured in Adobe Fresco on my iPad, printed out and fussy cut out leaving a very narrow white border around each one.
I designed a mini slimline folded card in Silhouette Studio with a slightly smaller top panel and used the interior shape of my new Fern Frame to make an ornate cut out window in the top panel.
I used my new Furness Forest Winter Treescape to create the cameo window backgrounds and cut them out using a larger matching cut shape. I left the backgrounds in black and white to create a nice contrast between the vivid colours.
I then created three top panels with the Fern Frame centered over the windows to create my cameos and added three different large senties from the faBOOlous A Wicked Compendium of Halloween Sayings.
I then printed out the panels onto a sheet of toxic mixed media cardstock I'd coloured with Peeled Paint, Squeezed Lemonade, Speckled Egg and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide sprays and cut them out on my Silhouette Cameo 4. I also cut out 3 of my mini slimline cards from black heavy weight cardstock.
I applied metallic gold Spectrum Noir pigment ink to the outside edges of the panels as well as all the window cuts.
I assembled all the mini slimline cards and mounted the Sleeping Batleigh Bats inside each cameo with black foam tape.
