Santa Puss Card

You got a peek at our makes for the release of my upcoming Loveleigh Kitties Collection and now I'm here today to share more of my stunning Christmas make featuring Santa Puss
who is whimsically adorable on my slimline card that's both playful and sparkly elegant!
I printed out Santa Puss then fussy cut him out with scissors leaving a narrow white border around the image. I coloured him up with Copics and Prismacolor pencils and added white gel pen highlights. For lots of pretty sparkle I painted his fluffy tail, beard and Santa hat pompom and trim with a Spectrum Noir clear glitter pen and his metal belt buckle with a gold glitter pen from the Sprectrum Noir paint pen - Collector's Edition Set #2.
I then stamped the "Meowy Christmas" sentiment with metallic gold pigment ink, fussy cut it out with scissors and mounted it onto a shadow mat layer cut from dark red cardstock. I've had the rubber stamp in my stash forever and think it's either a Rubbernecker or possibly A Country Welcome stamp.
To make my slimline card I used a sheet of the Silver decorative digi paper from my new Poinsettia and Holly Precious Metals Decorative Digi Paper Pack printed onto cardstock, Scrapbook.com white glitter paper and the Crafter's Companion Holly and Berries nesting die set
I made a 9" x 4" slimline folded card from dark red cardstock and cut the large background mat layer from my Silver Poinsettia and Holly Precious Metals digi paper just a bit smaller. The decorative Holly and Berries die panel is cut from the white glitter paper which I then adhered to another panel cut from white cardstock. The top center die cut panel is also cut out from my Silver digi paper which I then matted onto dark red cardstock to make the holly and berry border pop.
To give the finished make lots of fun dimension I adhered the top panel, the sentiment and Santa Puss to the card with black foam tape.
