"The Power of Three"
Shadow Faerie Ring Candle Holder
by Leigh
Three of the most powerful Shadow Faeries gather to begin their final spell preparations for All Hallows' Eve within the magical mushroom faerie ring found deep in the center of Furness Forest where the magic is strongest!
I'm a huge fan of the original Charmed TV series and my three sisters are played by Nyx, Zylah and Zella Shadow Faeries and they're surrounded by my Mushroom Faerie Ring digi stamp. I created my scene in Silhouette Design Studio, printed it onto a sheet of parchment paper then used the print and cut feature to cut the shape out using the base mat layer from the Shadows Rising Gothic Frame SVG Cutz and my Silhouette Cameo 4.
My candle holder is reminiscent of an old wrought iron candle holder with a hinged base that folds down for the candle to sit on. I used the rest of the layered elements from the Shadows Rising Gothic Frame SVG Cutz set to construct the candle holder frame and the candle base is the large mat layer included in the set just reduced in size. The shadow layer on the front was cut from Crafter's Companion textured purple cardstock and the lace overlay frame from Scrapbook.com's purple glitter paper.
The back panel of the frame and the candle base were cut from black cardstock. I then sandwiched the printed parchment panel between the purple and black cardstock layers and I scored a fold into the candle base and attached it to the bottom edge of the frame.
I then adhered the purple glitter overlay to the front and lit the magic when I added my 3" flameless candle!
Shop the Digi Stamps and SVG Cutz used today and more in LeighSBDesigns BOOtique Halloween Sale! Scary good deals up for grabs through Oct 31 midnight pacific!
