I'm back for Day 27 of our 31 Days of Halloween SPOOKtivities with a
PURRtastic Slimline book panel featuring a Loveleigh
Kitty and matching senti from my new CAToWeen 2024 Loveleigh Kitties Halloween Collection and my wicked awesome FUNdamental Foundations Slimline Coffins Nesting SVG Cutz set for electronic cutting machines. Plus, that purple bottle is decorated
with one of my stunning Apothecary Labels included in the Furness Forest Apothecary Labels Set #1 from the Shadows Rising 2022 Collection.

CAToWeen Loveleigh Kitty is the star of today's make!
CAToWeen by candlelight is a spooky sight!
She's so cute and tiny and her giant shadow is pretty wicked!
"Boo Hiss"... she purrs in the darkness!
I
coloured tiny CAToWeen digitally in Adobe Fresco, printed her in all
her colourful glory and fussy cut the little cutie out with scissors leaving a narrow white border that makes her
pop nicely against the backgrounds.
To
make CAToWeen's shadow I completely coloured in the image with a black
Copic leaving just the whites of her spooky eyes.
I painted CAToWeen's shadow with a
Spectrum Noir black glitter brush pen for lots of wicked sparkle. The sparkle on the tiny kitty is very pretty in real life but ever so hard to capture in photos but her shadow is really sparkly here so you get the idea of how sparkly tiny CAToWeen really is too!
My
31 Days of Halloween makes are going in a book I'm making so I first
made a slimline 4" x 9" book panel from heavy weight black
cardstock. I used a batty patterned paper for the background panel and cut it 1/8 inch smaller. I then edged it with Spectrum Noir Midas Bronze pigment ink for a touch of
distressed metallic elegance and adhered it to
the black panel with glue.
For the mat and layered Coffin panels I used my SPOOKtacular FUNdamental Foundations Slimline Coffins Nesting SVG Cutz
set for electronic cutting machines. The set includes 7 concentric
slimline coffin mats and layers for making slimline cards, tags and
more!
I
used the 3 largest coffin SVG Cutz to create my mat and layered coffin
stacked background and cut them out with my Silhouette Cameo 5 electronic
cutting machine.
I
cut the largest coffin from purple glitter card, the middle coffin from
black cardstock and the top coffin from a whimsical Halloween themed patterned paper. I then edged the top coffin panel and the black mat with Spectrum Noir Midas Bronze pigment ink for more distressed metallic elegance and adhered them to the purple glitter card. I then mounted the coffin stack to the book panel with black foam tape for some fun dimension.
Next I adhered the shadow kitty to the coffin stack with glue and then got to work on the senti.
The "Boo Hiss" senti is from the Catoween Senties set of 4 kitty themed Halloween sentiments.
I opened the sentiment in Silhouette Studio and added an offset. I used the "print
and cut" feature to first print the senti with my printer onto white
cardstock and then fussy cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo 5. I
coloured the senti with Seedless Preserves and Villainous Purple Distress Ink applied with a
blender brush and adhered it in place with
glue.
I then adhered tiny CAToWeen kitty in place with foam tape for even more fun dimension.
These two faBOOlous Tim Holtz Candlelight die cuts are casting the wicked shadow of CAToWeen. I cut out all the colorize elements from adhesive backed Sizzix textured cardstock and edged everything with Black Soot Distress Ink.
Once the candles were assembled I painted the flames with a yellow Spectrum Noir glitter brush pen and applied Crystal Stickles glitter to the waxy drips plus a touch of bronze pigment ink along the bottom edges. Once dry I adhered them together then added them to book panel with a double layer of foam tape to account for the multi-level background.
