Val created such a lovely serene scene here...how wonderful to float amongst the clouds and send birthday wishes soaring through the sky to one and all❤️

Tee joins us today as Guest Designer with two fabulous cards featuring Romeo and Juliet Balleigh Monsters from the 2021 Valentine Collection❤️

Don't these love sick Balleigh Monsters just make you smile😁

 

Tee coloured Romeo and Juliet Balleigh Monsters with Caliart markers on a heavy white cardstock.  She used Over the Rainbow paper for her backgrounds and matted them on smooth white card bases.  Tee then embellished with green glitter on the leaves, Nuvo white crystal drops on Romeo's tooth and a pink gem on Juliet's hair bow.  The senties "Smooches" and "Smitten" are just 2 of the senties included in the digi stamp sets with these cutie monsters❤️

“Be Mine”

Gothic Valentine Card

Welcome to Day 3 of our wickedly fabulous 5th annual Gothic Valentine Blog Hop🖤  LeighSBDesigner Val made this gorgeous Distressed Heart Splatter Valentine card for your inspiration today🖤

 

 

Val's Valentine card is so wickedly delightful in its blood splattered moodiness...straight out of a Bloody Valentine movie!  She used the Distressed Heart Splatter digi stamp as her focal, the "Be Mine" senti is part of the prize up for grabs this month and the little roses embellishment is Romeo Balleigh Monster's boutique of flowers😉

 

 

 Val coloured the Distressed Splatter Heart and little roses with Spectrum Noir red and black Tri-blend markers then embellished the heart with clear embossing powder applied with a Versamark pen.  The moody background is done with Black Soot, Fired Brick and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks.  Val added Two Red Robins Shadow Fern die cuts done in black cardstock to her little rose embellishments and then completed her card with mat layers cut in black cardstock and red glitter cardstock and mounted everything onto a black folded card.

 Today I'm sharing the Valentine slimline card I made for my hubby featuring the Heart Balloons from the Romeo Balleigh Monster set, Scratch Hearts background and the "Hugs and Kisses" senti from the Valentine Senties set not yet released.

 

 

 I used my Silhouette Cameo 4 to print and fussy cut out the Heart Balloons and "Hugs and Kisses" sentiment.

 

 

I also cut a mat layer which I coloured with Midas gold Spectrum Noir pigment ink and then mounted the images to the mat with black foam tape.

 

 

 I made the scrumptious mixed media Scratch Heart background with Distress Oxide Sprays in shades of red and pink and applied the same gold pigment ink to the edges of the slimline panel.  I coloured the Heart Balloons with Copics and Prismacolor pencils and added pretty sparkle to them with a clear Spectrum Noir sparkle glitter pen....the shimmer is so pretty in real life! 

 

I completed my Valentine card by mounting the panel with black foam tape onto a slimline card I made from heavy weight black cardstock.  I'm pleased with the fun dimensional bold look of the finished card😁

"Romeo and Juliet"
Balleigh Monster Heart Blooms Ornament by Leigh

I'm kicking off the hop today with my hanging ornament featuring all my new February releases, Heart Blooms and the Romeo and Juliet Balleigh Monsters 🖤  There's no love story more romantic and tragic than Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet🖤

 

I coloured my adorable love monsters and floral heart wreath with Copics and Prismacolor pencils.

 

I used my Silhouette Cameo to fussy cut out all the images as well as mat layers which I coloured with Tea Dye and Black Soot Distress inks.

 

 

I used a white Dylusions paint pen to add white detailing.

 

I used a Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen to add sparkly shimmer to all flowers, leaves and Juliet's heart bow, lips and eyeshadow.  I also applied transparent violet Viva Pearl 3D gel to the twirly flower centers on the Heart Blooms heart wreath.

 

 

 

I assembled and layered the images with black foam tape to create a fun dimensional ornament and embellished with a black satin ribbon in 2 widths and 2 Tim Holtz die cut bats coated with clear Rocky Candy Distress crackle.
