Oddleigh Dreaming of Sleep card by GDT Susan R!

Today I'm sharing a fabulous card by Susan Renshaw featuring Oddleigh Dreaming of Sleep😴

 Poor lil miss Oddleigh, she sooooo desperately wants to catch some Zzzzzzz but if it isn't Mockingbirds keeping her awake it's a whole fence of caterwauling kitties, LOL, the poor ghoul!

Susan started out by combining lil miss Oddleigh Dreaming of Sleep with the Oddleigh Sleep Bubble, which comes with her in the set along with Oddleigh Stars, and digitally layered both images onto two star themed digi papers in Serif CraftArtist 2.   She then printed out the design and coloured up lil miss Oddleigh with Promarkers.   Susan trimmed the printed panel and matted it onto yellow cardstock then layered it off center onto blue cardstock then added everything to a 5 x 7 inch white folded card blank.  She then embellished with washi tape, a yellow button and finished off with the wicked cool kitties die cut from sparkly black foam.  Totally PURRfect, I love it😻

LeighSBDesigns Art Stamps New Release: Oddleigh Dreaming of Sleep set and Oddleigh Mockingbird set!

I'm excited to release two new Oddleigh sets today, Lil Miss Oddleigh Dreaming of Sleep set of 3 digis and Oddleigh Mockingbird set of 5 digis!😃

 Mockingbirds moved into my neighbourhood last year and tormented everyone with non-stop singing all day and all night from March through June, we were soooooo sleep deprived😬 Luckily this year the night time singing hasn't been as bad but they're out there making themselves heard on and off throughout the night.  The Mockingbird saga is my inspiration for these two new Oddleigh sets and I'm sure many of you can relate and will enjoy telling your own Mockingbird horror stories with these fun new quirky designs! 

Lil Miss Oddleigh Dreaming of Sleep is whimsical, quirky and super cute in her fluffy slippers and nightgown decorated with a sleeping kitty face and the saying "Dreaming of Sleep" but she's sooooo not impressed with all the noise keeping her awake!  She comes with 2 digis, a cluster of 4 stars and a thought bubble full of sleep Zzzzzz's.

Oddleigh Mockingbird is a wicked bird perched in a tree gleefully shooting Sleep Zzzzz's out of the sky with his bow and arrow.  He comes with 4 digis, a cluster of 2 stars, a pile of fallen Zzzzz's, floating Zzzzz's that are hollow so you can make them any colour you want plus the same Zzzzz's in solid black too.

 

 

These are stand alone sets that work nicely on their own so you can create all sorts of stories with them.  But put them together and you've got an entire Mockingbird drama....check out my inspiration projects below for lots of ideas😋
