We're busy getting into the festive spirit with my STAMPtember releases for Winter and Christmas❄️

 

Yesterday I released the Holly Chorus Frog for Winter and today is the start of my Christmas 2020 Collection releases with a whimsically fun and festive version of my little froggie called the Christmas Chorus Frog!

 

This is a beautiful realistic nature scene of a tiny Chorus Frog wearing a Santa hat while sitting on a Holly branch covered with holly leaves and berries.  This design is perfect for your non-traditional holiday makes this year and definitely a must for frog lovers❄️

 

Frogs aren't usually the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Christmas scenes but I've got an adorable little "pet" Chorus Frog that loves to hang out on my Holly plant outside my front door!  He's so cute and I couldn't resist drawing him and now here he is even cuter wearing his Santa hat!

 For LeighSBDesigner Val's last share day for 31 Days of Halloween she made 3 faBOOlous creations, 2 ATCoins and another clawesome coaster👻

Materials used:  Circle nesting die, Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink, Bright Orange and Forest Green Promarkers, Americana Triple Thick gloss, Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter, Quickie glue pen and Smooth white cardstock

First up a PURRcious Wiccan Moon ATCoin!

Materials used:  Circle nesting die, Diamond stencil, Sakura pens, White gel pen, Broken China Distress Oxide, Ice Grey 4, Aegean Blue, Dusty Pink and Ivory Promarkers and Smooth white cardstock

 A magical wizard ATCoin featuring Boston Terrier-in-a-Box!

Materials used:  Black, Bright Orange and Forest Green Promarkers, Wild Honey and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide inks, Black gesso, Mod Podge, MDF coaster and smooth white cardstock

This coaster featuring Kitty Luna is PURRfectly magical as the Witching Hour draws near!

   We're now in the 3rd week of this spooktacular hop, October is just whizzing by!

Our Town of Halloween!

I'm back today with a creeptastic coffin-shaped-fancy-edge card featuring Boston Terrier-in-a-Box which is now on FLASH SALE until midnight tonight pacific time in my BOOtique👻  

 I went with a Tim Burton-esque feel for this card and creeped up my cutie Boston Terrier themed jack-in-a-box digi by using a spooky colour palette.  I coloured the design on my iPad with a stylus in the drawing app called Paper 53.

I fussy cut out Boston Terrier-in-a-Box leaving a narrow white border then mounted on black stock and fussy cut again leaving a narrow black border to make the design pop against the background of the card.  I then made the coffin shaped folded card from black cardstock but fussy cut away the entire right hand side of the card's front and back to match the outline of the digi.  

Lots of die cutting, layering, clear Wink of Stella shimmer and yummy red glitter on black cardstock action going on here to create my creepy scene.

Continuing with the Tim Burton influence I completed my card with the handwritten text from The Nightmare Before Christmas - This is Halloween.  Did you see the clawesome cover of This is Halloween by Broken Peach included with my Day 1 post?  Go check it out, it's totally wicked!
