We love Halloween and we just can't resist celebrating reaching the halfway mark to October with our annual Half-o-Ween spooktivities every May.

We'll be mixing in our Halloween/Gothic makes with our MerMay makes every other day or so this year so please do pop in to see them and leave us some love.

🎃 “Trick or Treat” Party Balleigh Monster 🎃

My Half-O-Ween inspiration for you today is a spooktacular and super fun  “Party” Balleigh Monster set Shaker Card🎃

I collaged the background paper using the “music notes” that comes in the “Party” Balleigh Monster set  behind my spooktacular lil fluff ball and coloured him up with Prismacolor pencils and white gel pen highlights.

To create the shaker card I actually re-cycled the packaging from a 5x7 embossing folder!

The fun monster candies are also re-cycled, I cut them off a Monster High doll box I’ve had in my stash for ages.  The monster candies are glued to the background and the orange jack-o-lanterns are the shaker part of the card.  I mounted the main panel onto orange and black cardstock layers and adhered the acetate blister packaging to them.

I finished off the card front with “Trick or Treat” ribbon and embellished the corners with orange buttons.

I then completed the shaker card by mounting it onto a folded card base I made from black heavy weight cardstock and done!  I love how it turned out and will be giving it to my nephew in October🎃
