"Shadows of a 1000 Years"
Spell Slimline Card

My wicked awesome new Shadows of a 1000 Years Spell Digi Stamp is the main focus of my slimline card today all decked out in glorious purples and black! This one does have a more masculine feel to it if you're in need of ideas for Halloween cards for the boys!
I made my background with Villainous Potion and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide sprays....there's just a hint of the speckled egg coming in there at the top of the spell. I printed the Shadows of a 1000 Years Spell Digi Stamp onto the background and used my Silhouette Cameo 4 to cut it out with a bit of an offset as well as a matching mat shadow layer cut from black cardstock. I then painted the eyes and mouth of the spell with glow-in-the-dark paint, of course ;0), and the rest got a coat of Ranger Glossy Accents for a magical glass-like shine. For a touch of shimmer I painted just the black edge of the mat layer that shows with Spectrum Noir Onyx sparkle glitter ink.
I alternated the layers on this card between shiny and matte and used Anna Griffin's Spooky Slimline Frame dies to die cut out the layers. I used matte black for the spiderweb layer and Anna Griffin's foiled purple cardstock for the back layer and the top layer that has tallons beneath the Spell. I also used matte black to cut one of my slimline folded card bases included in these sets from my A Charming Christmas Collection: Snowmen Slimline Make-a-Card Layered SVG Cutz and the Christmas Baubles Slimline Make-a-Card Layered SVG Cutz. I then mounted the Shadows of a 1000 Years Spell onto the card front with black foam tape.
Then when darkness falls and creatures of the night begin to stir, all the spells cast around Furness Forest glow wickedly in the shadows ready to burst into magical light on All Hallows' Eve!
