The Witching Hour fast approaches, the creatures of Furness Forest begin to stir as Shadows of a 1000 Years rise again unseen...until the night of Halloween!"

Day 11 of 31 Days of Halloween
"Something Haunting in the Light of the Halloween Moon"
Gothic Crystal Ball Card
by Leigh

My 31 Days of Halloween inspirational make for you today is a spellbinding fancy top fold card featuring a Digi Stamp from my new Shadows Rising Collection  and Digi Stamps and SVG Cutz from the Once Upon a Nightmare 2021 Collection!

There is Something Haunting in the Light of the Halloween Moon!

Nyx the Shadow Faerie was caught briefly in the wicked glow of the Halloween Moon while she mischievously flies around Furness Forest casting her magic spells!

By now you know how much I love playing with light for my Halloween makes from candles and fairy string lights to glow-in-the-dark paints.

I printed Nyx the Shadow Faerie, the Wicked Moon and the senti from the A Wicked Compendium of Halloween Sayings onto one of Silhouette's glow-in-the-dark sticker sheets.

I used the elements included in my Gothic Crystal Ball Easel Card 3D SVG Cutz set to create a top fold card in Silhouette Studio which I then cut from a 12 x 12 inch sheet of dark green textured Crafter's Companion cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo 4.  I scored a fold about an inch down from the fleur-de-lis finial for the back of the card and adhered the 2 panels together to make the top fold card.  I incorporated the Wicked Moon into the matching mat layer for the Gothic Crystal Ball overlay, then added a cut offset line around Nyx the Shadow Faerie and the "Halloween Moon" senti and printed everything out onto the glow-in-the-dark sticker paper then used my Cameo to fussy cut everything out.

I then cut the Gothic Crystal Ball overlay included in the Gothic Crystal Ball Easel Card 3D SVG Cutz set out of black cardstock and painted it with Sage Spectrum Noir Sparkle ink to give the black cardstock a green-tinted shimmer and applied Crystal Stickles glitter, that has hints of green in it as it catches the light, to Nyx's ragged wings for lots of magical sparkle!

I love the monochromatic look in daylight and then at night the dramatic green glow is mesmerizing!
