To create these beauties Val used the Egyptian kitties:  Ta-Miu, Cleo and Horus, the super versatile Hieroglyphics Background and then Val completed them all with the PURRfectly matched "Cats of EGYPT" senti from the  Egyptian Wonder Senties - 10 sentiments set.

My Day 29 of 31 Days of Halloween Hop plus Day 4 of the Cat Lovers Hop inspiration for you today is a mystical Egyptian luminary featuring my Egyptian Cats, Cleo and Horus🎃

 

 

Prepare to worship at the mighty Pyramid of the Cat gods!

 

 

Oh mystical kitty cats we honour you and bring you toys and treats!

 

 

The Pyramid of Cats glows with magical power at night!

 I printed out 2 each of my Cleo and Horus Egyptian Cats with 1 of each as a mirror image.   I coloured them with Copics and fussy cut them out.  I then fussy cut mats from black cardstock for each cat too.

 

 

 I made a pyramid window box cut from a sheet of heavy weight watercolour cardstock I coloured with Black Soot and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide sprays, Black Soot Stain and Tarnished Pewter Distress Stain sprays to get the look of metal.  I lined each window with spiderweb segments cut from a Silhouette Design Store Cobweb Lace cut file by Jennifer Wambach then covered each window with orange cellophane from my Quality Street sweets stash of coloured cellophanes....Quality Street is an English candy brand😉. I then cut a hole the size of a flameless tea light into the base flap of the box, adhered the matted cats to each box panel and assembled the box.

 

 

 Neo gave it his seal of approval😻

My love for cats goes hand in hand with my passion for all things Egyptian so today I have a pyramid shaped card for you featuring 3 of my Egyptian themed designs, Cleo Egyptian Cat, Horus Egyptian Cat and Anubis Bust😻

 🙀Beware the Curse of Bastet🙀

Anubis is waiting to gather the souls of any non-CAT worshipers who dare to enter Bastet's tomb😸

Lots of mixed media action on the pyramid with rubber stamped cracks and hieroglyphs, coloured with Distress Oxide inks and Distress Crackle Paint clear rock candy crazing antiqued in black.

Cleo Egyptian Cat

Cleo and Horus are coloured with Copics.

Horus Egyptian Cat

The Egyptian cats are fussy cut out and adhered to the pyramid card with clear 3D foam.
 

 I typed up "Beware the Curse of Bastet", cut out the words and coloured with Distress Oxides.

Neo inspected this one in detail and gave it his seal of aPURRoval😻

Scully insisted on having a look at Anubis too👻
