My Cherry Blossom Mer-Ween Hop inspiration to end of this fabulous month of fun is a gorgeous Pocket Album featuring the following from my new Cherry Blossom Collection:
Cherry Blossom Lace Pocket Cutz, Cherry Blossom Border and Corners Lace Cutz, Kitty Geisha Doll Print and Cutz set, Cherry Blossom Branch Print and Cutz set, Parasol Geisha Doll Print and Cutz set.
The Pocket Album cover features the Cherry Blossom Border and Corners Lace Cutz set and the Cherry Blossom Branch Print and Cutz set.
The Pocket Album pages feature the Cherry Blossom Lace Pocket Cutz and just the corners from the the Cherry Blossom Border and Corners Lace Cutz. Tucked inside each pocket page are tags decorated with both Geisha Dolls and the various senties included in their sets.
I designed the Pocket Album covers and pages in Silhouette Studio and cut the pages from heavy weight black cardstock and the layers from decorative paper.
I used all the layers included in the Cherry Blossom Border and Corners Lace Cutz set to cut the elements for the front and back covers.
For the pages I used all the layers included in the Cherry Blossom Lace Pocket Cutz set and the lace overlay and lace shadow mat layer for the corners from the Cherry Blossom Border and Corners Lace Cutz set.
I then designed the tags in Silhouette Studio and cut them all out from black cardstock with 4 layers cut from the decorative paper and 4 layers cut from the peach cardstock.
For the Kitty and Parasol Geisha Doll Print and Cutz and the Cherry Blossom Branch Print and Cutz I used the designs with the largest offset border and mat layers cut from black cardstock.
I did a bit of flower bud stamping and distressing with Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide ink on all the peach tag layers.
I embellished all the distressed peach tags with the images and all the
floral patterned paper tags with the senties which I also matted onto
black cardstock.
I added peach organza ribbon to all the tags and used a gold organza ribbon to tie the Pocket Album closed.
I decorated the front cover with the Cherry Blossom Branch adhered with pop dots to add some nice dimension and embellished it with a peach silk ribbon to tie into the pop of bright peach I used for all the mat layers throughout the Pocket Album as well as the 4 tags inside. I then completed the Pocket Album front cover with a large gold dragonfly charm to match the gold organza ribbon.
