I'm writing this post with a broken heart, our beloved family kitty, Mango, crossed the rainbow bridge today😿 Mango is the beautiful kitty on my LeighSBDesigns logo.
He was a very special kitty who refused to let a health condition spoil his fun, his vets called him a “miracle cat" coz he continued to defy all odds for many many years! He amazed and delighted everyone who met him and he will be loved and missed forever😿
I didn't know that today would be such a sad day when I made my creation but I somehow just knew that my Kitty Pumpkin Hat drawing based on Mango had to be on the front of my Cat Cube😿

I'm writing this post with a broken heart, our beloved family kitty, Mango, crossed the rainbow bridge today😿 Mango is the beautiful kitty on my LeighSBDesigns logo.
He was a very special kitty who refused to let a health condition spoil his fun, his vets called him a “miracle cat" coz he continued to defy all odds for many many years! He amazed and delighted everyone who met him and he will be loved and missed forever😿
I didn't know that today would be such a sad day when I made my creation but I somehow just knew that my Kitty Pumpkin Hat drawing based on Mango had to be on the front of my Cat Cube😿
Carved Skelly Cat sits proudly on top of my Cat Cube and he's double-sided so the Cat Cube can be enjoyed from any angle.
All the images are coloured with Copics and white prismacolor pencil, fussy cut out and the edges outlined with a metallic silver gel pen. Each kitty also has some Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen details for a touch of magical shimmer.
I applied Judikins Diamond Glaze to both sides of the Carved Skelly Cat to give him a nice dimensional sculptural look and applied the glaze to just the eyes of all the kitties featured on each side of the Cat Cube. I added white Dylusions paint pen hightlights to all their eyes.

This one called Kitty Cuddles came out to play for this project even though this lovely Mom and Baby aren't Halloween images.
This one is Kitty Luna.
All the panels are decorated with my Skull Roses Collage coloured with Tea Dye and Fired Brick Distress Inks and edged with Midas Spectrum Noir silver pigment ink. The mat layers under each panel are die cut from Crafter's Companion black glitter card. I coated the entire top Skull Roses panel with Judinkins Diamond Glaze and then adhered the Carved Skelly Cat, Tim's Skull Fragments, black metal roses and silver metal corner adornments.
I stained the unfinished wooden cube from Michaels with Black Soot Distress Stain and applied Spectrum Noir silver gilding wax to all the edges. I decorated all the panels with Tim's Batty Crazy bats die cut from CC black heavy weight cardstock and coated with clear Rock Candy Distress Crackle paint.
I added tiny stars die cut from white cardstock painted with Spectrum Noir gold sparkle pen using one of Tim's Swirling Stars dies. I then finished my elegant Cat Cube with Tim's metal foundations.
