"Happy St. Paddy's Day" Paddy Balleigh Monster Card by Val

"Happy St. Paddy's Day"
Paddy Balleigh Monster

 LeighSBDesigner Val created her lovely St. Patrick's Day make with the adorable Paddy Balleigh Monster set of 4 digi stamps.
 
 
Val printed out Paddy Balleigh Monster and the "Happy St. Paddy's Day" senti using the Silhouette Studio Print and Cut feature and used her Silhouette Portrait 3 electronic cutting machine to fussy cut them out with an offset.  She coloured up Paddy Balleigh Monster with Promarkers in shades of green and peach and edged the senti with green Distress Oxide ink.  To make her round background panel she used a John Next Door Leaf stamp stamped with the same Distress Oxide ink then mounted everything to a white top fold square card with foam tape.

Loveleigh Kitties Inspiration: Happy St Paddy's Day - Paddy Puss Slimline Card by Leigh

My inspiration for you today is a PURRtastic slimline card featuring my new Paddy Puss Loveleigh Kitty!  This handsome whimsical St Patrick's Day Kitty, dressed in his traditional Leprechaun finery, is part of my fabulous new Windows to Spring 2024 Collection!
 
 To make my beautiful and quirky slimline card I first coloured Paddy Puss Loveleigh Kitty digitally in Adobe Fresco then opened him in Silhouette Studio.  I sized him to 8 inches tall, applied an offset cut line around him and printed him out using Silhouette's print and cut feature.
 
 
I then used my Silhouette Cameo 5 electronic cutting machine to fussy cut him out as well as a shadow mat layer cut from black cardstock and adhered them together.
 
 
Next I made a 4 inch by 9 inch slimline card from black heavy weight cardstock and made mat layers from pastel purple matte foil Anna Griffin cardstock which I adhered directly to the black slimline card.  
 
 
I then cut the top panel from fun patterned paper that colour coordinates nicely with Paddy Puss' colour palette as well as a mat layer from black cardstock and adhered those together.  I then adhered the layered top panel and Paddy Puss to the card with black foam tape for lots of fun dimension.
 
 
 
 The fun "Happy St Paddy's Day" senti is from the Paddy Balleigh Monster set.  I already had the senti print and cut out with the fun fussy cut offset in my stash so I just needed to adhere it to black cardstock and fussy cut the mat layer with scissors.  To complete my slimline card I rhwn adhered the senti in place with black foam tape.
