I'm back for Day 9 of our 31 Days of Halloween SPOOKtivities with my
PURRtastic Slimline book panel featuring a Loveleigh

Delve into the magical world of apothecary healing with these beautiful glass vessels filled with mystery and wonder!
I
coloured my beautiful apothecary bottles digitally in Adobe Fresco, printed them out in all their magical colour and fussy cut them with scissors leaving a narrow white border that makes them pop nicely against the background
paper.
For a touch of magic I applied Distress Glow in the Dark paste to the large moons on both bottles as well as a few areas on the Spells bottle. Looks like calcified deposits have formed on the outside of the bottles. I also applied Crystal Stickles glitter to all the stars, dots and highlight areas for lots of magical sparkle.
The glow-in-the-dark effect adds such a magical touch to the scene!
My
31 Days of Halloween makes are going in a book I'm making so I first made a slimline 4" x 9" book panel from heavy weight black
cardstock. Then to create the background for my Apothecary scene I cut a panel 1/8 inch smaller from a 12 x 12 sheet of Crafter's Companion Vintage Halloween cardstock. I then edged it Spectrum Noir Midas Gold pigment ink for a touch of
distressed metallic elegance and adhered it to
the black panel with glue.
Next I die cut 4 Crafter's Companion Vintage Halloween Spiderweb Corners from black cardstock with a full sheet of double sided adhesive applied to the back and adhered them in place. I then applied more Spectrum Noir Midas Gold pigment ink to just the outer edges of all 4 corner die cuts.
I
then had a magical time creating my Apothecary scene of SPOOKtacular die cut shelves filled with lots of apothecary jars, a cauldron, a skull and bones cut from various scraps of cardstock. The shelves are actually scraps left over from the background used on my Dia De Los Muertos make, totally looks like wood don't you think!
All the apothecary elements are from the Crafter's Companion Vintage Halloween Witch's Potions die set. I also die cut multiples of everything from black cardstock and layered up all the pieces to create nice chunky pieces in various heights. I then applied Black Soot Distress Ink and Spectrum Noir Midas Gold pigment ink to the edges of all the die cuts.
I adhered the two shelves holding my large apothecary bottles to the slimline panel with black foam tape and the rest directly to the background to create levels of dimension. I also used foam tape on my Spells and Potions Apothecary Bottles, the skull and the cauldron and adhered the various jars in place with glue. I then applied Crystal Glitter glue to all the die cut elements to give them a crusty magical sparkle.
To complete my make I used the "Spooky Season" sentie included in the Halloween Senties set of 2 more traditional Halloween digi stamp sentiments from my kitty themed CAToWeen Halloween Collection.
I opened the sentiment in Silhouette Studio and added an offset. I used the "print and cut" feature to first print the senti with my printer onto white cardstock and then fussy cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo 5. Next I applied Black Soot Distress Ink and Spectrum Noir Midas Gold pigment ink to the edges to give it a ghostly shadow, a hint of metallic shine as well as tone down the stark white of the cardstock. I then adhered it in place with glue.
