I'm back for Day 21 of our 31 Days of Halloween
SPOOKtivities with my
PURRtastic gatefold card featuring a Loveleigh
Kitty, matching senti and Apothecary Bottles from my new CAToWeen 2024 Loveleigh Kitties Halloween Collection and Decorative Digi Paper from the This is Halloween 2023 Collection. Also, that faBOOlous purple bottle is decorated
with one of my stunning Apothecary Labels included in the Furness Forest Apothecary Labels Set #1 from the Shadows Rising 2022 Collection. Check everything out and more in my Halloween Sale!
I coloured Hocus Pocus
Loveleigh Kitty digitally in Adobe Fresco, printed her out in all her magical colour and fussy cut her out with scissors leaving a very narrow white border to makes her pop nicely against the background.
I also printed out mini Spells and Potions Apothecary Bottles and fussy cut them out too.
I then made my gatefold card from heavy weight black cardstock and die cut the fancy spiderweb design into both flaps using Crafter's Companion Vintage Halloween Swirling Web Edge'able die.
For the inside of the card I cut a mat layer 1/8" smaller than the card base from black glitter card and adhered it in place with glue.
I then cut my purple "This is Halloween" designer paper from the This is Halloween Decorative Digi Paper Pack 1/8" smaller than the mat layer.
Then edged the inside panel with Spectrum Noir Midas Gold pigment ink and adhered it in place with glue.
For the front of the gatefold card I cut 2 panels out of Crafter's Companion cardstock with a harlequin diamond pattern in shades of purple, edged them with Spectrum Noir Midas Gold pigment ink and adhered them in place with glue.
I also applied touches of gold pigment ink to the tips of the intricate spiderwebs.
I embellished the enchanting Hocus Pocus
Loveleigh Kitty with Diamond Stickles Glitter and a Spectrum Noir clear glitter brush pen for lots of magical sparkle.
I also painted the Spells and Potions Apothecary bottles with Spectrum Noir clear glitter brush pen and added touches of Diamond Stickles Glitter.
Next I adhered Hocus Pocus
Loveleigh Kitty inside the card with low profile white foam tape for just a smidge of dimension.
The Spells and Potions Apothecary bottles were adhered to the front of the gatefold panels with glue.
Hocus Pocus kitty is so cute peeking out at us through the wrought iron gates!
To complete my gatefold card I decorated the back with more Crafter's Companion cardstock, this pattern is what's on the other side of the diamond patterned paper.
The "Have a FURtastic Halloween" senti is from my faBOOlous new Halloween Kitty Senties set of 3 kitty themed Halloween sentiments included in the CAToWeen Halloween 2024 Collection.
I printed the sentiment and fussy cut it out with an offset using my Silhouette Cameo 5 then coloured it with Chipped Sapphire and Villainous Potion Distress Inks plus a touch of gold pigment ink around the edges. I then adhered it in place with glue.
