LeighSBDesigner Val is back for Day 22 of our 31 Days of Halloween SPOOKtivities with a wicked awesome card featuring digi stamps from the magical This Is Halloween 2023 Collection and my new CAToWeen 2024 Halloween Collection.
Val started out by printing a mini image of the adorable Incy Wincy Spider Slimline Coffin digi stamp, fussy cut it out with scissors and coloured it with Promarkers and glitter and white gel pens.
The "This is Halloween" senti with the little bat is one of the two senties included in the SPOOKtacular This is Halloween Slimline Bat and Senti set. She printed it, fussy cut it out with scissors then matted it onto a fussy cut black cardstock mat layer. She then coloured in some of the letters with the same green glitter gel pen used on the pumpkins eyes.
She then made a side fold card from heavy weight white cardstock and die cut the intricate spiderweb design along the front edge using Crafter's Companion Vintage Halloween Swirling Web Edge'able die. She then used a Tim Holtz Decayed stencil with Black Soot and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide inks to created her background and colour the spiderweb die cut. She then added Diamond Stickles glitter to the spiderweb for some spooky sparkle.
Next she added all the digi stamp elements as well as a tiny die cut black spider to the front of the card.
She then comleted her SPOOKtacular card by decorating the inside with the "Trick or Treat" senti from the Halloween Senties set which she fussy cut out with an offset using her Silhouette Portrait 3 electronic cutting machine then edged in Black Soot Distress Ink. She then embellished the 2 corners with die cut corner elements cut from black cardstock and layered onto fussy cut white cardstock.
