Day 31 of 31 Days of Halloween
"Trick or Treat"
Wicked Witch and Alice
Panel #16
 by Leigh
Peering down, Alice watched the magic light slowly dwindle as the White Rabbit traveled the Rabbit Hole back down to Wicked Wonderland and signed sadly when the hole went dark.  Despite her horrific encounter with the Queen of Hearts Alice had enjoyed her Halloween visit to Wicked Wonderland and felt quite sad now the magical adventure was over.
Suddenly, a gnarled robed hand appeared over her shoulder from behind making Alice literally jump out of her skin for the 3rd time that day.
"Welcome back my dear!"
"You look like you've been through a terrible ordeal, here's a nice treat to make you feel right as rain" cackled a wicked voice in the Halloween darkness that made Alice's hair stand on end.
Cupped in the gnarled hand sat a wicked apple that made her tummy grumble despite it's rather unnerving appearance.  The apple gleamed in the moonlight as green liquid slowly dripped down it's curved surface.
"How about just one bite?" encouraged the disembodied wicked voice.
Alice stared at the poison apple and felt the mesmerizing pull of it's swirling eyes.
Screaming in her head she felt her arm raise as she reached out to take the apple.
"Noooo don't take the apple" Alice tried to warn herself.
Suddenly the wicked Rabbit Hole began to glow with intense light as a lightning bolt erupted from it's core and struck the wicked Witch.
The Witch screamed with fury and fled upon her broom.
Alice dashed back over to the Rabbit Hole and called down,
"Thank you for saving me" she said.
"Happy Halloween"
All her friends replied back in unison!
"Feeling delighted to be back in Furness Forest Alice decided to enjoy her midnight stroll back home under the watchful gaze of the Cheshire Cat high up on the tree top.
The End!
I'm back for Day 31 of our 31 Days of Halloween SPOOKtivities with the 16th in a series of panels featuring designs from my new Wicked Wonderland Halloween Collection.  The panels will be stored in an ornate tin I'm altering and all will be revealed later today so do stop by again to see my finale post!
Panel #16 features the Wicked Witch Robed Hand,  Falling Wicked Alice, the Poison Apple, Wicked Moon and the Wicked Arrow Signs set.
I coloured the digi images in Adobe Fresco then printed and fussy cut them all out leaving a narrow white border to make them all "glow" and pop nicely
 against the background.
Using
the keyhole template I made based on the ornate tin I'm altering, I cut
the shape of the main panel from heavy weight black cardstock and 1/4" smaller background mat layers for both sides of the panel cut from the Crafter's Companion Halloween paper pad.  I then edged all the pieces with Spectrum Noir metallic gold pigment ink and adhered them to the black panel.
I adhered the Falling Wicked Alice in place with glue to look like she's jumping out of her skin along with the Wicked Moon.  I then mounted the Wicked Witch Robed Hand to the panel with black foam tape.
Fussy cut from the Falling Wicked Alice collage I embellished the front panel with the jack o' lanterns, bats, a Candy Bat, alchemy symbols, stars, knife, bats and the "Trick or Treat" arrow sign and the back panel with the "Happy Halloween" arrow signs and a jack o' lantern.
I added magical shimmer to the images with a clear Spectrum Noir glitter brush pen and lots of little details to the scene with glow-in-the-dark paint.  I also added glossy accents to the Witch's nails and the poison apple stem.
I added tiny Tim Holtz' Ignite Neon Alcohol ink dots to the eyes of all the pumpkins, then turned on the black light.
So spooky and pretty!
For panel #16 I used
the Poison Apple
Thanks for counting down to Halloween with us, we've had an absolute blast seeing all your wicked makes!
Stop by again later today to see my finale reveal post!
Happy Halloween!
Happy CRAFTober!
