🎃Day 29 of 31 Days of Halloween 2019🎃

"Pennywise the  k...IT...ten Clown"

Today is National Cat Day and I just couldn't resist creating this creeptastic chunky coffin plaque for you today inspired by IT chapter 2!

There's new scary clown act at the Quirkleighs CarnEvi!

Here's Carved Skelly Cat as Pennywise the kITten!
Want a balloon?  mwahahahaha

Carved Skelly Cat is on FLASH SALE until midnight pacific tonight!

To create this wicked chunky coffin I started off by altering an ArtMinds corrugated plaque!
I covered the plaque with black cardstock then wrapped the edges with Recollections washi tape.

I created my kITen scene in Photoshop using Carved Skelly Cat and 2 balloons from my Birthday Bunny image that's available as a freebie in LeighSBDesigns Facebook Fan Group and printed it out onto mixed media cardstock.

I coloured the images wtih Copics, Prismacolor pencils and a metallic gold gel pen, white Dylusions paint pen and a black micron fineliner.

Then painted kITen's red face paint with a Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen and applied a coat of Judikins Diamond Glaze to kitty's eyes, nose, the red balloons and the "IT" writing.

I created the decaying background with Derwent Pastel Pencils, Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink, Fired Brick and Black Soot Distress Inks using Tim's Grime and Decayed layering stencils.

The blood drips are die cut from Tim's red Kraft Core cardstock using the Drip Edge die.

I grunged up the blood drips with Black Distress ink then applied clear Rock Candy Distress Crackle paint to the die cuts and all the edges of the plaque using the Decayed stencil.

I used craft gauze to make the clown ruffles and adhered it to the cat with glue.

To darken the coffin plaque edges I sprayed them with Black Soot Distress Oxide Spray and then adhered the blood drips to the coffin plaque.  I used Spectrum Noir Inca Gold gilding wax to enhance all the dimensional cracked paint.

A closer look at all the details!
