🎃Day 22 of 31 Days of Halloween 2019🎃
and
😻Day 2 of the Cat Lovers Blog Hop😻

This is my beautiful Neko, which means Cat in Japanese!

FLASH SALE
Neko is on sale until midnight pacific tonight!

My faBOOlous kitty project for you today is inspired by the TV series, The Terror:  Infamy!
I couldn't resist turning Neko into a Yúrei!

The Terror:  Infamy
When the betrayed Yuko kills herself the tragic circumstances surrounding her death creates an onnen that turns her into a Yúrei, a demonic spirit with a wild hunger for revenge!

I coloured Neko with Copics and white prismacolor pencil with the Kimono floral design and details done with a white and silver gel pen and a black Copic fineliner.  Her decay tears are painted with Black Soot Distress Ink and a fine paint brush.

I created the grungy decayed background with Derwent Pastel pencils and a Dove Blender pen.

I used the small fancy shape die included in Anna Griffin's Slider Card Die Set to die cut out the Neko panel.  I then used the large fancy shape die to make all the elements for an easel card die cut from Crafter's Companion matt black cardstock.

I then die cut decorative panels from Tim's Worn Wallpaper using the same large die and applied Black Soot Distress Ink to the edges.  I chose the beautiful gray-blue floral worn wallpaper for this project and hand drew the floral design on Neko's Kimono to match the wallpaper pattern.

I used Tim's crochet border die and holiday greenery mini dies and CC's black cardstock to die cut the decorative elements for my card.  I then applied Spectrum Noir silver metallic wax to all the elements and easel card panels.

I mounted the Neko panel onto the easel card base with pop dots and created the easel card stopper with 2 Making Memories pearl flowers and added a 3rd flower to the top right corner of the Neko panel.

I embellished the base of the easel card with one of Tim's Halloween Words metal Adornments and a silver/black metal rose.  I think the sentiment fit the theme of my card PURRfectly.

This is Neo, my beautiful Abyssinian😻
He hangs out in my studio while I create and loves checking out all my finished projects😻

He's a gorgeous boy😻
