🎃Day 3 of 31 Days of Halloween 2019🎃
Quirkleighs CarnEvil RingMistress mixed media decor!

You're now the captive audience inside the Quirkleighs CarnEvil big top!
Entranced you stare at the strange and beautiful creature standing in the center of the ring!

You jump when The RingMistress cracks her whip!

The CarnEvil show has begun!

I coloured The Quirkleighs CarnEvil RingMistress with Copics and white Prismacolor pencil detailing then added luxurious details with a metallic gold gel pen and white gel pen highlights.

I completely fussy cut her out including her whip!  To give the whip strength and glamorous dimension I applied Judikins Diamond glaze to it and then painted it with a metallic gold Prismacolor pen.

The decor piece is a wooden wonky house I gave new life to.
You can see my original projects here!

I created the decorative background with Tim's new Shifter Rays large layering stencil and Distress Oxides:  Antique Linen, Fossilized Amber, Fired Brick, Candied Apple, Ground Espresso and Black Soot Distress Ink.

I used a Crafter's Companion Decorative Edge die to cut the bottom edge of the decorative background panel and a black Sheena heavy weight cardstock panel to give the feel of a Big Top tent frill.  I used foam tape to pop the decorative panel off of the black panel and then pop dots to adhere The RingMistress to the decorative background.  I love doing dramatic dimension!

I chose a fun striped design from Tim's Idea-ology Retro Grunge paper pad, grunged it up with Black Soot Distress Ink and applied Distress Rock Candy Crackle Paint.

I made decorative panels for the sides of the wonky house using mixed media cardstock, Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge, Candied Apple and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Sprays and the faBOOlous large Pumpkin Spooks rubber stamp by Stampendous stamped in black pigment ink.

I grunged up all the panels with Black Soot Distress Ink and applied Ranger Texture Paste coloured with Dylusions black paint using Tim's large Grime layering stencil.  I finished off all the edges with Midas Gold Spectrum Noir metallic pigment ink.

I elevated the wonky house to new heights by adding one of Tim's Vignette Finials which I painted black.  I then applied Pebeo gold gilding wax to the finial and all the edges of the wonky house for even more grungy gold bling including Tim's fun Idea-ology Quote Chip which was the perfect width for the base of my decor piece.  The perfect finishing touch are the two die cut Bat Crazy bats by Tim cut from black Sheena heavy weight cardstock and coated with Distress Rock Candy crackle paint.

The Quirkleighs CarnEvil RingMistress is on FLASH SALE until midnight tonight pacific!
