Now for today's creeptastic creation by Me!
🎃Day 5 of 31 Days of Halloween 2019🎃
Quirkleighs CarnEvil Snake Charmer mixed media decor!

The RingMistress cracked her whip and the Quirkleighs CarnEvil show began!
You have no choice but to sit and enjoy...mwahahahaha!

Hypnotized you watch the exotic Snake Charmer walk the tightrope high above your head!

You cringe while her snakes perform death defying tricks!

You gasp in horrible delight as dozens of snakes coil and twirl through the air!

I printed The Quirkleighs CarnEvil Snake Charmer out twice and coloured her up with Copics and a white Prismacolor pencil and added touches of metallic gold gel pen details.

Then completely fussy cut out one entire image and just her arm and snake umbrella from the 2nd.

I applied Judikins Diamond glaze to the tightrope to give it strength and dimension.
This decor piece is another one of my wooden wonky house I gave new life to.
You can see my original projects here!

The decorative background papers on this one are from Tim's Idea-ology Retro Grunge paper pad and Recollections Mystic Moon paper pad, that snake paper couldn't have been more perfect if it tried!  I did subtle stenciling over the snake panel with Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick Distress Oxide inks and Tim's Grime large layering stencil and then grunged up both decorative paper panels with Black Soot Distress Ink and Distress Rock Candy Crackle Paint tinted with black Dylusions paint.  I used Tim's Speckles layering stencil on the snake panel and Decay on the bottom panel.

I used a Crafter's Companion Decorative Edge die to cut the bottom edge of the decorative background panel and a black Sheena heavy weight cardstock panel to give the feel of a Big Top tent frill.  I used foam tape to pop the decorative panel off of the black panel and then pop dots to adhere The Snake Charmer and the additional snake umbrella layer to the decorative background.  I'm having so much fun creating these dramatic dimensional scenes!

I made decorative panels for the sides of the wonky house using mixed media cardstock, Mustard Seed, Candied Apple, Worn Lipstick and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Sprays and the faBOOlous large Pumpkin Spooks rubber stamp by Stampendous stamped in black pigment ink.  I finished off all the panel edges with Midas Gold Spectrum Noir metallic pigment ink.

I another one of Tim's Vignette Finials for the base which I painted black.  I then applied Pebeo gold gilding wax to the finial and all the edges of the wonky house for even more grungy gold bling including Tim's fun Idea-ology Quote Chip which I cut to fit the width of the decor piece.  I thought "She was Peculiar" was spot on for this one!  The perfect finishing touch Tim's die cut Bat Crazy bat cut from black Sheena heavy weight cardstock and coated with Distress Rock Candy crackle paint.

The Quirkleighs CarnEvil Snake Charmer is on FLASH SALE until midnight tonight pacific!
