π Betsi Batleigh π
shaker card by Leigh
My Day 23 of 31 Days of Halloween Hop inspiration for you today is a spooktacular Betsi Batleigh shaker cardπ
This spiderweb shaped shaker card is so fun and different and I had a blast making it!
I modified a Spider Web Frame Silhouette Studio Store cut file by Sweet Elsie to create the layers for the shaker.
The main spiderweb frame is the detailed top layer in black with a mat layer cut from purple glitter cardstock. I cut a panel of acetate for the shaker window and then 2 layers without the window cut out from stamped mixed media cardstock made by me and then a solid black panel for the base.
I coloured Betsi Batleigh with Prismacolor pencils with white gel pen highlights. I then fussy cut her out and mounted her on a fussy cut black mat.
The background of the shaker window features the "Pumpkin Spooks" rubber stamp by Stampendous stamped in black pigment ink onto a mixed media cardstock I coloured with Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge, Candied Apple and Frayed Burlap Distress
Oxide Sprays.
I used black foam tape to create the shaker container and filled it with black bats, jack o' lanterns and a mix of hot pink and 2 shades of orange coloured star confetti pieces. I then adhered Betsi Batleigh to the shaker with black foam tape.
Thanks for stopping by to see today's featured project!
Happy Haunting!
So much to look and your coloring always ROCK!
