Day 9 of 31 Days of Halloween
This is Halloween
Bat Slimline Card

My make for Day 9 of our 31 Days of Halloween SPOOKtivities is a faBOOlous slimline card featuring Digi Stamps, SVG Cutz and Decorative Digi Papers from my new THIS IS HALLOWEEN 2023 Collection 🎃
The star of my horizontal slimline card is the faBOOlous This is Halloween Slimline Bat and 2 Senties Digi Stamp Set. I used the design that has the grungy outline (the set also includes a clean edge outline one too) and I coloured the bat in Adobe Fresco, printed it out full size and added white gel pen stars. I then fussy cut out the bat with scissors leaving a narrow white border which I then coloured with a Spectrum Noir gold glitter pen. Next I fussy cut out a shadow mat layer from black cardstock and adhered the bat panel to the mat with my new favourite adhesive, Artis Craft Glue. The 4 fl oz glue is a Scrapbook.com exclusive and comes with a set of precision tips and a no clog pin.
To make my horizontal slimline card I used one of my SVG Cutz sets that includes the folded slimline card base and cut it out of heavy weight black cardstock. I then cut a mat layer from a sheet of Scrapbook.com's orange glitter paper and adhered it to the card base with Scrapbook.com exclusive double sided adhesive tape.
For the top panel I used a sheet of my "Halloween words" digi paper from my new This is Halloween Decorative Digi Paper pack and cut it so the words "Zombie Bats" was visible just above the Bat's head🎃 I then edged it with Spectrum Noir metallic gold pigment ink and cut a mat layer from black cardstock and adhered them together with black foam tape.
The "This is Halloween" senti is included in the This is Halloween Slimline Bat and 2 Senties Digi Stamp set and I used my printer and Silhouette Cameo 4 to do a print and cut job with an offset and also cut a matching mat layer from black cardstock. I applied Dried Marigold Distress Ink to the senti and edged it with Spectrum Noir metallic gold pigment ink.
🎃 You can see the silhouettes of Oddleigh Witchiepoo, Skelly Cat, Vampire and Ghost Balleigh Monsters having a scary good time on this faBOOlous haunting scene 🎃
Next I adhered the bat to the card with black foam tape for lots of fun dimension, the senti with glue and then completed the scene with lots of batty friends - Tim Holtz Bat Crazy and Moonlight dies.
