I'm back today with part 2 of my creeptastic Zombie story featuring
The Zombie Stare💀
If you thought BOO! was creepy get a load of this guy!
It's NEVER a good thing to see Zombie teeth this close....eeeeeek RUN💀
Nothing goes to waste in my studio!!! I used the other half of my Zombie to make another card...put them together to complete the scene👻
They are similar but do have a few differences: Just like before I wanted to create a 3D graveyard scene and have him really close and creepy! The wrought iron fence in the background is stamped and embossed with black embossing powder onto one of my Distress Oxide galaxy skies. The Zombie is coloured with Copics, fussy cut out and layered onto the background with pop dots. To give the scene depth and to make the Zombie appear even closer I adhered the tombstones in the mid-ground between the stamped fence and the Zombie. In the foreground I put Tim's Gothic Gate. The Tombstones and Gothic Gate are all die cut from black cardstock with Picket Fence Distress Ink highlights.
For even more fun dimension I added the spooky tree branches die cut from green cardstock then distressed with Black Soot Distress Ink and given the crackle treatment with the cracks enhanced with black antiquing gel. After roughing up the edges of the main panel with Tim's paper distresser tool I matted it onto orange cardstock and applied Black Soot DI to the edges and then mounted everything onto a folded card made from black cardstock. I created the sentiment using words snipped out from my Red Tape Snippets set! I then applied Black Soot DI to the edges of each word and a coat of clear Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint with just a touch of black antiquing gel.
Closer look at the details with all the yummy layers and textures!
Neo came to my rescue...phew😸

ReplyDeleteLove this one just as much as the other! Really fabulous
ReplyDeleteand spooktacular makes. Love your talent & creativity.
Dividing that face into two separate
ReplyDeletepieces was a good idea. It's bad
enough seeing 1/2 of it, seeing the
whole thing would lead to nightmares.
thanks for sharing
