"Lucky 13"
card by Leigh
Today, on October 13th, I've got a "Lucky 13" black kitty card for you featuring Wiccan Moon😻 Well it's not a Friday but I think it's good luck to have a black cat cross your path no matter what day it is😻
If you love cats, collages and the grungy style then Wiccan Moon is a must have! Lots of fussy cutting and masking action went on here. I fussy cut up one design to create my masks. I masked everything but the moon and stamped it with Tim's X-Ray stamp. I then coloured the kitty and the moon with Prismacolor pencils and masked them to apply Distress Inks to the background. Then distressed the edges with Tim's paper distresser tool.
I embellished the card with black die cut spider webs with Picket Fence Distress Ink loosely applied so the webs would stand out nicely against the background and black kitty. Die cut number 13 which I covered with copper glitter glue and a silver metal spider web charm I coloured with yellow and black Copic markers. The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of spider web cardstock with gold pigment ink and embossed in gold then trimmed and edged with a copper Sharpie marker. I finished off my card by matting the collage onto pearlescent orange cardstock, then a folded card made from the same spider web cardstock. I used a sheet of double-sided DP cardstock with spider webs on one side and bats on the other so the inside of the card is covered in bats that kitty is now off chasing👻
Of course Neo gave this one his seal of PURRoval and is now dreaming of chasing bats too😸
So magical in the glow of my evening Halloween lights😻
