 Gothic Valentine conjures tales of dark romance, black lace, ruby red velvet, the seductive world of vampires, forbidden love, tragic love, monster love stories, the torment of broken hearts, betrayal and the sorrow of love lost.  You get to interpret all of the above in our Gothic Valentine Blog Hop and create whatever your dark heart desires!

“Be Mine”

Gothic Valentine Card

Welcome to Day 3 of our wickedly fabulous 5th annual Gothic Valentine Blog Hop🖤  LeighSBDesigner Val made this gorgeous Distressed Heart Splatter Valentine card for your inspiration today🖤

 

 

Val's Valentine card is so wickedly delightful in its blood splattered moodiness...straight out of a Bloody Valentine movie!  She used the Distressed Heart Splatter digi stamp as her focal, the "Be Mine" senti is part of the prize up for grabs this month and the little roses embellishment is Romeo Balleigh Monster's boutique of flowers😉

 

 

 Val coloured the Distressed Splatter Heart and little roses with Spectrum Noir red and black Tri-blend markers then embellished the heart with clear embossing powder applied with a Versamark pen.  The moody background is done with Black Soot, Fired Brick and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks.  Val added Two Red Robins Shadow Fern die cuts done in black cardstock to her little rose embellishments and then completed her card with mat layers cut in black cardstock and red glitter cardstock and mounted everything onto a black folded card.
