Classic pOe Frame Cards

It's Day 2 of our POE-tastic 8th annual Edgar Allan Poe Blog Hop and today I've got two handsome "pOe" Frame Cards to inspire you featuring my new Poe 2023 Collection and my Ode to Poe digi stamp.

 

 

To make my classic "pOe" cards I used 2 of the POE-tastic frame card sets included in my new ultimate "POE" Frame Cards SVG Cutz Set and all the background papers are from my new Classic Poe - Vintage Grunge Digi Art Paper Pack.

 

 

This "pOe" Frame Card is the large top fold card base included in the ultimate SVG Cutz set.

I imported the Ode to Poe digi stamp into Silhouette Studio and sized Poe's Portrait to fit inside the "O" frame and then used Silhouette's print and cut feature to print and cut it out.

 

I imported all 6 of the Classic Poe - Vintage Grunge Digi Art Papers into Silhouette Studio and then played around with the placement of all the SVG Cutz elements.  It was then easy to print the digi papers onto white cardstock and cut out all the Frame Card elements.  I also printed out the "Happy Birthday Poe" and "Edgar Allan Poe" senties included in the Romancing Poe Collage digi stamp set onto one of the background papers.  I cut the "Happy Birthday Poe" sentie out with an offset following the curved shape of the words.

 

I used the largest mat layer to cut a panel for the inside of the card too.

 

 

This "pOe" Frame Card is the larger of the 2 side fold card bases included in the ultimate SVG Cutz set.

 

For this one I used the "Poe and Raven" design from one of the Classic Poe - Vintage Grunge Digi Art Papers inside the "O" frame and I trimmed off the word "Poe" from the "Edgar Allan Poe" sentie.  For both senties I also cut matching panels and slightly larger panels out of black cardstock to mat and layer and make chunkier senties.  I did the same to the top "pOe" overlay letters for both cards too for extra dimension.

 

I then assembled all the card elements and used foam tape to pop the "pOe" overlayers with the shadow mat layers for even more fun dimension.

 

I'm really pleased with how the whole "POE" Frame Cards ultimate SVG Cutz Set turned out and they look so handsome cut from my new Classic Poe - Vintage Grunge Digi Art Papers!
