Today I'm sharing my 4th mixed media painting, this one features the Mushroom Cottage with Hazel Silhouette Faeire from my brand new release, The Enchanted Garden Collection😊 Don't forget the release sale ends TONIGHT at midnight pacific!
Mushroom Cottage is a delightful tall mushroom fairy house surrounded by fantasy flowers, mushrooms and tall magical trees with tiny fireflies twinkling in the twilight sky and a bee buzzing around the large flower. This set comes with 4 versions of Hazel the Silhouette Faerie, you can see her right facing version in this magical scene.
To create this painting I watercoloured the background with Wilted Violet, Pickled Raspberry, Bundled Sage and Forest Moss Distress Oxides. The images are done with a combination of watercolour paint and aqua pencils and then the entire design enhanced with Prismacolor pencils. I also used a white gel pen to add details and highlights too.
