Today I'm sharing my 3rd mixed media painting and this one features the Treestump Cottage with Sage the Silhouette Faerie from my brand new release, The Enchanted Garden Collection😊 Don't forget the release sale will end at midnight pacific on July 22nd!
Treestump Cottage is so charming with twin pine cone roofs surrounded by fantasy flowers and tall magical trees with tiny fireflies twinkling in the twilight sky. This set comes with 4 versions of Sage the Silhouette Faerie, you can see her right facing version in this magical scene.
To create this painting I watercoloured the background with Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers, Bundled Sage and Forest Moss Distress Oxides. The images are done with a combination of watercolour paint and aqua pencils and then the entire design enhanced with Prismacolor pencils. I also used a white gel pen to add details and highlights too.
