With just 2 more sleeps to go til Christmas Day LeighSBDesigner Val is Celebrating the Season today with two wonderful card variations featuring the adorable Santa Pinecone character from my new "Rocky Mountain Christmas" collection.

 Val printed the delighful Santa Pinecone digi stamp character twice onto smooth white cardstock and coloured them up with Promarkers, a Sakura green gel pen and white gel pen for the details and highlights.  For lots of textural festive sparkle she applied Tim Holtz clear Rocky Candy glitter to the hat's fur trim and pompom and the pine cones on both.

 

 

  

 For her first card variation Val framed the Santa Pinecone panel with a black Sharpie marker and adhered it to a side fold card base she made from a heavy weight silver cardstock with foam tape to give the card some fun dimension.

 

 

For her second card variation Val framed the Santa Pinecone panel with a black Sharpie marker and adhered it with glue to a mat layer cut from red cardstock.  She then mounted everything onto a side fold card base she made from a heavy weight white cardstock with foam tape to give this card some fun dimension as well.
