January 19th was Edgar Allan Poe's Birthday and National Poe Appreciation Day!

"The Ravens"

Raven Tree Slimline Make

For Day 2 of our Poe CREATivities today Val has a POEtastic Raven themed make with a wonderful colourful yet moody sky to inspire you!

 She created her moody colourful sky with Dusty Concord, Chipped Sapphire and Dried Marigold Distress Oxide inks on white cardstock then printed my new Raven Tree Silhouette digi stamp directly onto the inked cardstock.  She trimmed the panel to size and applied Black Soot Distress Oxide to the outer edges to further enhance the moodiness of the scene.

 

 

Then she printed out the Raven head portrait digi stamp from my classic Poe collection of POEtastic vintage detailed illustrations.

 

 

 

 She then fussy cut the Raven head out with scissors and adhered it to the bottom right corner of her make.

 

She then mounted her scene panel onto a side fold card made from black cardstock to complete her POEtastic make.
