Celebrate the Season Christmas Countdown

 

"Christmas CATastrophe"

For Day 5 of our Celebrate the Season Christmas Countdown I've got a PURRtastic festive and fun Z-Fold card that most cat people can relate to, the Cat in the Christmas Tree saga that is both horrifying and adorable at the same time, LOL!

 

 I used the cuties Christmas CATastrophe, Xmas Cat Tree and the Christmas CATastrophe Senties set of 4 sayings from my new Festive Felines 2024 Christmas Collection of FURstive kitty cuteness!  See the release of this PURRtastic collection HERE!

 

 

For the 6 inch wide front panel I used the adorable Christmas CATastrophe Loveleigh Kitty.

 

 

 

Christmas CATastrophe Loveleigh Kitty is having a blast destroying playing in the Christmas Tree and now it's lying on floor, ornaments askew with 1 casualty broken on the floor.  But who can be mad at that adorable face, LOL!

 

 

 I coloured both of the kitty digi stamps digitally in Adobe Fresco, printed them then fussy cut them out with scissors leaving narrow white borders that makes the images pop nicely against the coloured backgrounds.

 

 

For the 8.5 inch high middle panel of the Z-Fold card I used the adorable Xmas Cat Tree Loveleigh Kitty who has scampered up the Christmas Tree to play with the Star Tree Topper and the kitty now has an elegant ornament hanging from it's tail too.

 

For the background 9 inch panel I created a collage using all 4 of the sentiments included in the PURRfect companion Christmas CATastrophe Senties set and printed onto white cardstock.

 

 

I coloured the panel with Squeezed Lemonade, Candied Apple and Barn Door Distress Oxide inks.

 

 

I then rubber stamped little stars, ornaments and snowflakes in Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink between the sentiments.

 

 

This tub of tiny stamps by Hero Arts has been in my stash for over 30 years and always fun to use for those little touches!

I made my Z-Fold Card from a sheet of heavy weight white Sheena cardstock by Crafter's Companion and followed the shape of both images to create the fancy shaped card folds which I cut out with scissors.  I then used the same Squeezed Lemonade, Candied Apple and Barn Door Distress Oxide inks to colour the cardstock.

 

I adhered the images to the panels with glue and embellished them with Crystal Stickles glitter for lots of pretty festive sparkle that twinkles when viewed from different angles.

 

 

The finished Z-Fold Card is so PURRtastic and full of festive mischievous fun!
