Slimline Card

My new Americana Loveleigh Kitty July release is the star of my fun slimline card today! I had lots of fun colouring Americana Kitty in vintage colours and paired him up with the bright fireworks patterned paper that makes my 4th of July make both nostalgic and whimsical.
I fussy cut out Americana Kitty with Silhouette Cameo 5 electronic cutting machine with an offset white border to make him pop nicely against the background.
I applied Crystal Stickles glitter to all the stars, his belt as well as his eyebrows, mustache, beard and his cute fluffy tail for lots of pretty sparkle.
The "Happy 4th" sentiment is cut from a sheet of patterned paper which I also edged with the glitter glue.
I cut the patterned paper 1/4 inch smaller than my slimline card which I made from a sheet of heavy weight white cardstock and adhered the background panel in place with glue. I then completed my fun card by mounting Americana Kitty and the sentiment to the card with foam tape for some fun dimension.
