I was so excited about my upcoming 2024 Loveleigh Kitties Collection that I couldn't resist releasing my first kitty, Santa Puss, at the end of October...see the release post HERE😻

You got a peek at our makes for the release and now Val is back today to share more about her gorgeous Christmas card featuring the new Loveleigh Kitties Santa Puss!
Santa Puss
is whimsically adorable on Val's fun and festive Christmas card. She printed out the Santa Puss kitty onto white cardstock and coloured him up with Promarkers to look like he's wearing a full Santa suit and added white gel pen details. She then fussy cut him out and to give him a more masculine look she trimmed off the fluffy tail and then applied Distress Clear Rock Candy Glitter with a Quickie Glue Pen to the fur and pompom on Santa's hat for lots of festive sparkle. She also printed out the "Merry Christmas" senti from the A Charming Christmas Compendium of Festive Sayings, coloured the cardstock with a red Promarker and then fussy cut the senti out. Next she printed out the Rose Gold design from the Poinsettia and Holly Precious Metals Decorative Digi Paper Pack pack and cut a slimline panel for the background. She applied red Craft Artist Magic Powders to the outer edges of the panel then mounted it onto a slimline side fold card made from heavy weight cardstock. She then adhered Santa Puss and the sentiment to the card front with foam tape to give it some fun dimension.
