MERMAIDS SVG Cutz Book

I'm kicking off the SPOOKtivities today with a FantaSea digi stamps and SVG Cutz make so put your flippers on coz we're off to a Half-o-Ween party beneath the sea🧜🏻‍♀️

 

 

Cleopatra Oddleigh Mermaid is regally presiding over the Half-o-Ween party on the cover of my Halloween themed MERMAIDS Book.  This is the "M" page from the MERMAIDS Letter Page Circle Make-a-Book SVG Cutz kit.

 

 

 

I also used the companion “Mermaid Scales” Layered Circle SVG Cutz set to decorate the cover page.

 

 

Each page of my book is decorated with alternating mermaid scales cut from orange and purple cardstock.  I grunged up each layer with Black Soot Distress Ink and applied Waterfall Stickles glitter to the circle edges.

 

 

 

Cleopatra Oddleigh Mermaid and the cute little pumpkin from the Vampire Balleigh Monster set were coloured in Adobe Fresco, printed and then fussy cut out with scissors.  I added Cleopatra to the page with pop dots for lots of fun dimension.

 

 

The "Happy Haunting" senti is from the Once Upon a Nightmare A Wicked Compendium of Halloween Sayings.  I printed the senti via Silhouette Design Studio where I added an offset to create the border then cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo 4.  I applied Black Soot Distress Ink to the senti to grunge up the white cardstock.

 

 

I used a Cheery Lynn die to die cut the spiderweb from black cardstock and painted it with Spectrum Noir Candlelight Sparkle glitter ink.

The Artsy Stems are Tim Holtz' newest fun dies and the bats are from his Mixed Media Halloween dies.  I die cut all those from black cardstock and left them matte black to create contrast with the spiderweb.  For a variation in all the pretty sparkle I painted the page letter "M" with a Spectrum Noir gold sparkle brush pen then embellished the page with “pearl bubbles”...self adhesive pearlescent blue pearls in 2 sizes.
