SVG Cutz Make-a-Card

For today's finale of our magical A Charming Christmas Hop+Challenge festivities I'm back with an elegant card featuring my new "A Charming Christmas" Winter 2021 Collection of digi stamps and SVG Cutz❄️

 

 

On Dec 21 I showed you how I made my "Snow Wishes" card shown on the right hand side of the above photo with the window design backed with the purple cardstock mat and today I've got the other version to show you featuring the fabulous Elegant Snowflake Layered Make-a-Card SVG Cutz set!  This one has the window design open...it's a simple change that creates a fun different look❄️

 

Making Christmas cards is a breeze with my new range of SVG Cutz Make-a-Card sets that lets you make an entire card from start to finish, plus they're super versatile coz you can customize how you want your cards to look too!  This Elegant Snowflake Layered Make-a-Card SVG Cutz set is just one of the 3 festive Make-a-Card sets in the "A Charming Christmas" Winter 2021 Collection of digi stamps and SVG Cutz release❄️

 

 

Using my Silhouette Cameo 4 electronic cutting machine I cut the wonderful Snowflake and Star lace overlay design from lilac cardstock, the folded card base that has a fancy edge and elegant cut-in window design from heavy weight white cardstock and the matching card insert from purple cardstock.

 

I adhered the Snowflake and Star lace overlay to the front of the card outlining the matching window cut-in design.  For this card I decided to cut the card insert in half and only used the rectangle portion which I then adhered to the inside back panel of the card so the purple cardstock shows through the cut-in design only when the card is closed❄️

 

For lots of pretty sparkle I then applied Crystal Stickles Glitter glue to the Snowflake and Star lace overlay, the fancy cut edge of the white card and the right hand edge of the purple insert inside the card.  While the glitter dried I used my Cameo to draw the "Merry Wishes" senti from the A Charming Christmas Compendium of Festive Sayings - Digi Stamp set with Silhouette's black glitter pen and cut it out with an offset.  I then coloured in the white areas of the senti with the same pen to get the solid fill and edged the senti with glitter too❄️

LeighSBDesigner Val's A Charming Christmas Hop+Challenge inspiration for you today features a digi stamp and SVG Cutz from my new "A Charming Christmas" Winter 2021 Collection of digi stamps and SVG Cutz❄️

 

Val made her wonderful Christmas ornament with the base layer from the Charming Christmas Ornament Layered SVG Cutz set, snowflakes from the Winter Snowman Rectangle Lace SVG Cutz set and the "Deck the Halls" senti from the A Charming Christmas Compendium of Festive Sayings - Digi Stamp set❄️ 

 

Using her Silhouette Portrait 3 electronic cutting machine Val cut the base layer from the Charming Christmas Ornament Layered SVG Cutz set and Snowflakes from the Winter Snowman Rectangle Lace SVG Cutz lace overlay out of dark red glitter cardstock and more Snowflake embellishments out of white cardstock with gold glitter flecks.  She printed out the "Deck the Halls" senti, fussy cut it out and then decorated her festive Christmas ornament with Pinflair Iced Diamond, Tim's Distress clear Rock Candy glitter, white fibers and flat back jewels❄️

I'm back with more magical inspiration for our A Charming Christmas Hop+Challenge festivities featuring my new "A Charming Christmas" Winter 2021 Collection of digi stamps and SVG Cutz❄️

 

To create this lovely festive slimline card I used my fabulous Christmas Baubles Slimline Make-a-Card Layered SVG Cutz set❄️

 

  

Making Christmas cards is a breeze with my new range of SVG Cutz Make-a-Card sets that lets you make an entire card from start to finish!  This Christmas Baubles Slimline Make-a-Card Layered SVG Cutz set is just one of the 3 festive Make-a-Card sets in the "A Charming Christmas" Winter 2021 Collection of digi stamps and SVG Cutz release❄️

 

 

I was dreaming of sugar plums dancing in my head while creating this slimline card and used the pretty cerise glitter paper from Scrapbook.com's Rainbow slimline glitter paper pad for my background.  My lovely Christmas Baubles slimline design in white stands out beautifully against the pink!

 

 

 

The Christmas Baubles Slimline Make-a-Card Layered SVG Cutz set includes 2 slimline versions for lots of festive Christmas card making!  For this card I used the Card #1 version which includes the lace overlay card topper design with a border, a slimline folded card plus a matching mat layer.  I used my Silhouette Cameo 4 electronic cutting machine to cut the Christmas Baubles lace overlay from 80lb white cardstock, the folded slimline card base from heavy weight cardstock and the mat layer from the cerise glitter paper.  To complete my slimline card I added touches of Crystal Stickles glitter glue to the baubles and pine boughs coz you can just never have enough magical sparkle at Christmas❄️

LeighSBDesigner Val's A Charming Christmas Hop+Challenge inspiration for you today features a digi stamp and SVG Cutz set from my new "A Charming Christmas" Winter 2021 Collection of digi stamps and SVG Cutz❄️

 

Val made her wonderful winter wonderland Christmas card with the elegant Winter Snowman Rectangle Lace SVG Cutz set and the "Merry Christmas" senti from the A Charming Christmas Compendium of Festive Sayings - Digi Stamp set❄️ 

 

Using her Silhouette Portrait 3 electronic cutting machine Val cut the contemporary Winter Snowman rectangle lace overlay from Hobby Craft Gold Glitter cardstock.  Val made an easel card from heavy weight white cardstock and covered the card front with clear Rock Candy Glitter for lots of magical winter sparkle.  She then adhered the Winter Snowman lace overlay to the front of the card and did some paper piecing with the snowman's hat, eyes, cheek, carrot nose and tummy rocks she had left over from another one of her A Charming Christmas makes which she coloured up with Spectrum Noir Tri-blends markers.  Val then printed out the "Merry Christmas" senti, fussy cut it out and adhered it to the card❄️

Val made her wonderful Christmas card with the elegant Robin Charm and Pine Bough included in the Christmas Tree Charms Lace SVG Cutz set and the "Merry Christmas" senti from the A Charming Christmas Compendium of Festive Sayings - Digi Stamp set❄️ 

 

Using her Silhouette Portrait 3 electronic cutting machine Val cut the elegant Robin Tree Charm lace overlay, Robin mat layer and the Pine Bough from Hobby Craft Smooth White cardstock.  She then coloured the Robin mat layer with Alpine Green, Dark Red and Tan Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers and adhered the white Robin lace overlay on top then embellished the holly leaves and berries with Tim Holtz Clear Rock Candy Glitter.  Val made a folded card from heavy weight white cardstock and covered the card front with clear Rock Candy Glitter for lots of magical winter sparkle.  Val then printed out the "Merry Christmas" senti, fussy cut it out and coloured it and the Pine Bough with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink then finished her card with snowflakes left over from her other A Charming Christmas SVG Cutz makes❄️

For lots of pretty sparkle I then applied Crystal Stickles Glitter glue to the Snowflake and Star lace overlay, the fancy cut edge of the white card and the right hand edge of the purple insert inside the card.  While the glitter dried 

I used my Cameo to draw the "Snow Wishes" senti from the A Charming Christmas Compendium of Festive Sayings - Digi Stamp set with Silhouette's black glitter pen and cut it out with an offset.  I then coloured in the white areas of the senti with the same pen to get the solid fill and edged the senti with glitter too❄️
