LeighSBDesigner Val's Cherry Blossom Mer-Ween Hop inspiration for you today is a gorgeous lantern featuring the following from my new Cherry Blossom Collection:
Kitty Geisha Doll Print and Cutz set, Parasol Geisha Doll Print and Cutz set and the Cherry Blossom Pocket Digi Stamp set.
Val cleverly used the Cherry Blossom Pocket Digi Stamp set to create the sides for this fabulous box lantern.
She printed out 9 Cherry Blossom Pocket elements, fussy cut them out and coloured them up in shades of pink and embellished all the flower centers with Diamond Stickles glitter. She then used 2 pockets per side to assemble the lantern by using the fold tabs included in the pocket digi stamp design.
Val then made a lid for the lantern and decorated it with the 9th Cherry Blossom Pocket print which she cut in half to create the corner elements.
Val decorated the sides of the lantern with both Geisha Dolls from the Cherry Blossom Print and Cutz sets. She print and cut them out with the largest of the included offset borders that fussy cuts out the printed images with a narrow white border around them and coloured them up.
She edged the Geisha Dolls with a black marker and added one Geisha Doll to each side of the lantern.
Pop in a flameless candle and the result is a beautiful glowing Cherry Blossom lantern to enjoy in the evenings! What a stunning make this is❤️

Magenta, True Blue, Emerald, Fair Skin, Gold Brown, Ice Grey,
Alpine Green, Deep Purple, Purple and Coral
White Gel Pen
