The Oddleighs are having a wonderful time celebrating our 1st birthday🎉
Just look at this fabulous mixed media accordion fold book created by LeighSBDesigner Nan for today's Tutorial Tuesday segment🎉

1.  Create an accordion fold book from cardstock with panels that each measure 5" x 5" and add a 1/2 an inch flap on both ends.

2.  Decorate the panels with assorted stamps inked with your favorite colors.

3.  Apply soft body or craft acrylic paint with an old credit card over to each panel and let it dry.

4.  Apply white acrylic paint or gesso over Step 3 and let it dry.

5. Print out all the Oddleigh Girls, the Oddleigh Cherished Heart border, Oddleigh Flower's flowers and the Fireworks that come with both the Oddleigh July 4th and New Year sets and the Birthday Card Contest FREEBIE and color everything with markers and colored pencils.  Fussy cut all the images, except the FREEBIE, and adhere them to the book panels.

6.   Ink up the panel edges with your favorite ink pads or use acrylic paint applied with a sponge.

7.  Cut 4 pieces of cardstock measuring 7" x 7" for the front and back covers plus 2 panels of the same size from a cereal box.

8.  Emboss the front and back cardstock covers and then glue them to the cereal box panels to make the book covers nice and sturdy.

9.  Apply glue to the 1/2 inch flaps on the ends of the accordion book and attach the front and back covers.  To give the book a nice finished look cover the other side of the cereal box panels with the last 2 pieces of cardstock and hide the glued flaps.

10.  Attach 2 pieces of ribbon to the front cover of the book.  Leave enough ribbon loose on the ends to be able to wrap around the book and tie with knots or bows to keep the book closed.  Then finish off by attaching the FREEBIE image to the front cover with foam tape.

Undo the bow and enjoy the Oddleigh party🎉
