Howzit Stamping Friends!
Welcome back for our next Poe Appreciation DT Showcase! My fabulous design team ladies, Val and Nan, made lots of POEtastic projects for our 5 day Poe Appreciation Day Blog Hop which they shared on their own blogs during the hop and now I'm showcasing them here through to the end of January😋
If you missed the hop then you've still got a chance to join the fun and win a prize! Everyone who hops and comments on all the participating blogs included in the link-up below will be included in the drawing for my random Commenter Prize! The same goes for the Blog Hop participants too, you need to hop and comment as well to qualify for the Blogger prize. You have until midnight pacific on January 28th to do your rounds. Winners will be announced soon after! Start your hopping on my Day 1 post HERE! Enjoy😋
Up today we have two POEtastic creations by LeighSBDesigner Val featuring my realistic Raven
portrait. Raven is now on FLASH SALE today only, sale ends at midnight pacific!
WOW, I just love how Val's background on this one glows, it gives the Raven such portent presence! The colour and the halo effect immediately captures and draws your attention to the Raven! What mysteries he could reveal to us!
Val used Peeled Paint and Black Soot Distress Oxide to achieve that yummy background. She also used a white gel pen, Neenah white cardstock and black cardstock to create her card. The text is from a collage sheet of Poe words.
The Raven adorns Val's second wonderful tribute to Poe which features the classic poem we all know and love, The Raven.
Val used Fired Brick and touches of Peeled Paint Distress Inks to create the mat background as well as a white gel pen and green Spectrum Noir marker on the Raven's eye. The Poem is from a collage sheet. Everything was printed onto Neenah white cardstock which was also used along with black cardstock to create the card base and mats.
