Howzit Stamping Friends!
It's Tutorial Tuesday time and LeighSBDesigner Val is here today to show you how she made her fabulous Thanksgiving easel card showcasing our new release, Tangled Pumpkins🍁
I fussy cut out the pumpkins and one of the leaves. I then coated the coloured images with Versamark ink and applied Ultra Thick Clear Embossing Powder. Heat emboss the powder to create a lovely glass-like finish.
I then adhered the coloured pumpkins onto the card with PVA glue.

Hi Everyone,
Val here and I'm excited to share my easel card tutorial featuring our new gorgeous Tangled Pumpkins! This must have design is now on FLASH SALE for today only!
How gorgeous are these pumpkins, they're so perfect for your Fall/Autumn projects and versatile enough to be used all year round too!
I started by printing out the Tangled Pumpkins digi twice onto Neenah white cardstock.
Next I coloured one of the prints with various Spectrum Noir Markers in shades of Fall/Autumn.
I fussy cut out the pumpkins and one of the leaves. I then coated the coloured images with Versamark ink and applied Ultra Thick Clear Embossing Powder. Heat emboss the powder to create a lovely glass-like finish.
I then created the easel card panel with the second print and coloured the background with blended Peeled Paint and Wilde Honey Distress Oxides leaving a halo of white around the pumpkins. I decorated the background with a subtle leaf design stamped in Distress Oxide Peeled Paint.
I then adhered the coloured pumpkins onto the card with PVA glue.
I created the "Happy Thanksgiving" text in Serif CraftArtist2 and printed the words out onto Neenah cardstock. I then trimmed and matted the words onto black cardstock and trimmed again leaving a narrow black border.
To complete the card I made an easel stand from another sheet of black cardstock and adhered it to the back of the panel.
I had so much fun making this card and hope I've inspired you to create your own Tangled Pumpkins easel card this holiday season! If you do please share them with us by adding links to your blog posts in the comments below or on our Facebook Fan Group!
