 It's my turn again and today I'm featuring Oddleigh Lizard Boy and Spider set.  This set of 2 separate digis is now on FLASH SALE and ends at midnight tonight PDT so creep on over to my Etsy BOOtique and grab him before he scurries off👻

Oddleigh Halloween Lantern

My project today is an altered wooden lantern with a hidden surprise👻

The front and back panels are decorated with the Lizard Boy and Spider design which I digitally coloured in Paper 53 on my iPad using a stylus.  The front panel has layered dimensional fussy cut leaves and his ear is a fussy cut layer too.  The side panels have the Oddleigh Spider design, you know it's an Oddleigh coz it has an "O" on its back👻   All the Spiders are embellished with round red rhinestones too.

During the day the lantern looks like the pix above...as innocent as that cheeky face can be👻

 Then the magic happens when you turn on the light at night👻

 I'm giving this lantern to my 9 year old nephew for Halloween.  He'll love it I'm sure and also coz Oddleigh Lizard Boy was actually inspired by him👻

To finish it off I adhered a black plastic spider to the top which I also embellished with a red "Oddleigh" rhinestone.  The lantern came with the hook so he can hang it if he wants to.
